There have just been some changes on the site! If you look above the showcase icons (where it says FEATURED NG MEDIA), you will notice a new button for the Front Page Archive!

This is a long overdue section that archives everything as it is added to the front page. We launched it this month - sorry it doesn't go back any further. In January of 2006, you will be able to go back and view all of the features showcased in January of this year.

If you hear about something on the front page, only to find it gone when you arrive, you can now find it very easily!

We've also introduced some hot redesigns for P-BOT and A-BOT, courtesy of Mindchamber! Check 'em out!

I like the new A-bot, but not the new P-Bot :/
he looks too kiddy :o Mostly because of the eyes.

I liked Andrew's style better as far as P-Bot goes. Looked cleaner and more professional, more mega-man esque n' all, thought that might not be what you want anymore.

Cool stuff. It would be nice to have an archive of what's been featured on the Front Page (in list form) at some point, but this is definitely an excellent addition.
Not sure how much I like the new A-Bot and P-Bot designs, I'd kind of grown used to the old ones, and the new ones seem.... erm.... agressive. Still, sure I'll get used to them with time.

I feel the same actualy, They do look cooler and more badass, but I've grown attached to the "old" look.
Well If you must, Tom, then also ask stamper to update the buttons on the top, because they still feature the Old P-bot and A-bot.

Damn! I would like to see Hoy Te Amo in it. I know I can always check it on the Portal top50 and I've also bookmarked it, but still!

I guess it would have been a shitload of work to track down all the frontpage entries from the past :(

I never said I didn't like the idea. I said I didn't see the point. I keep all correspondence, so here's the original message, together with a "back at ya :P"

At the moment, the front page movies are all put in manually by either Wade or Tom. In future, there will be an automated method of putting those links in there. I don't see the point in having movies that have been on the front page being put into their own section, but these movies will be better categorised on their relative sections in the collections pages once the new collections system is in place.

By the way, the way in which Tom and Wade put movies on the front page through manual updates changed last month, which made this transition to archiving so much easier.

You're entitled to your opinion, Personally I felt Andy Dick's A&P bots Drooped like Saggy Tits. His P-Bot had the worst case of Lazy Eye I 'd ever seen, and A-bots pointer fingers looked like his was holding out a pair or Dildos.... Don't get me wrong, his flash and his other work look professional. I just think he did a half-assed job with the portal Bots..

anyway that's my opinion.

I talked to Stamper about making P-Bot alil bigger, since alot of details have dissapeared with him scaled down so much.
