You know, one thing I've realized on these forums is that other NG users judge the "poster" or the "postress" by their level of experience. I don't think this is fair, because it doesn't matter if you've got a level 1 or a level 27. It counts as to however many posts you have made.

What do you think about this issue?

People often get judged by their level because it's generally a measure of how long they've been around. Anyone can rack up a big count just diarrhea-posting all over the BBS.

Why did you choose level 27 as the max? And people have already explained the difference between noobs and newbs and "good users.

Yeh i did exagerate but im just saying if you look up a kid named DONTWATCHMTV or something like that BIG time spammer and i don't think he has gotten caught yet. All he does his fill the whole box with a link thats like www.boob.com or www.zing.com in almost all his posts on purpose.

No, it shouldn't go by post count. Theres alot more to NG then the BBS. And if it did go by post count, I can garentee the spam rate would sky rocket.

Uh, I don't think it's a problem. The only people who judge people by their stats usually don't matter anyway. I know I've never got flamed for being the level I am, even when I was a level 9/10. I didn't post when I was before level 9, so it's never been a problem for me. I also don't really get judged by post count either. I don't think judging by post count is good either.

People try to give all these formulas for being popular or well-liked or respected on Newgrounds, but it isn't really all that hard, and most of their "formulas" are bogus anyway. Just be a generally good-natured person when you post, and don't be extremely stupid.

Too bad Newgrounds doesn't have a stat to track common sense. I think liljim should whip up some coding for that... it seems he is able to code stuff for most everything else. :-P
