Computer Game

Ok, im looking for a computer game that fits the followig requirements:

-An excellent, long, engaging single player mode, plot perferred
-Single player mode must not require internet
-must not be TOO graphic intensive (not to graphic intensive meaning not Halo, Doom 3, half life, etc. Something a 32 mb video card could handle, but graphics about equal to then Condition Zero or splinter cell
-Any genre EXCEPT strategy. Strategy is to complicated for me.
-NO LORD OF THE RINGS RIPOFFS (lord of the rings ripoofs include anything with orcs, elves (except Zelda), trolls, dragons or any mythical creature.

Can any of you think of some thing like this that you would suggest?

I take it you want an FPS, given by the current responses. Becaseu I am not a fan of that genre, I would recomend Final Fantasy; a four year old could beat it, and you need 8-32 bit graphic support. It also has an amazing storyline, and is mainly Single player.

I would most definately recommend either No One Lives Forever or No One Lives Forever 2. Both are EXCELLENT games and you will not get bored. Both have a VERY long and ENJOYABLE single player scenario and the Mulltiplayer is fun aswell but you are not interested in that. They are not graphically intensive and they are very affordable. If you like those two, you might also want to invest into Project J.A.C.K. A prequel to No One Lives Forever 2. Still very enjoyable but shorter than the original games.

its an old game but independence war 2 endg of chaos i thought was an excellent game, there wasnt much plot but it was still a very fun game if your into space ship combat

Gothic 2 will is a great RPG, and you can buy it under $10, but it was made in 2003 and it have great graphics.
Warning: this game doesn't do anything about goths(so its not shit).

Get Septerra Core. It is an incredibly linear RPG with some very nice cutscene movies, and some really good cheats for when you get bored. GTA 2 is also quite the fun game for a simple computer and runs 10 bucks. Also, the Sega Classics pack runs cheap, and though the story lines are not incredibly long, there is a crapload of them.
