I can under stand Elvis being up there with the beatles (even though i personally don't perticularly like Elvis) but why Micheal Jackson and Madonna, i wouldn't say they were crap but i wouldn't say they were perticularly good either.

the Beatles are the best band ever although, Led Zeppelin are probably joint top with them.

The reason i picked those bands is that i think they've stood the test of time a little better than Elvis, Jackson, and Madonna...

I say those groups and people because they made changes to the music that made people look and see how good it was, Elvis turned alot of heads and some panties haha...

Jackson changed music and showed the world that a little white kid can go all the way :)

Madonna for her boldness...

how exactly did micheal jackson change the face of music, ok he made a few decent pop records and had some cool dance moves. but apart from his cool dancing what did he do. Maddona was pretty inavitive, I Don't particulkarly like her music but i can kind of undersatnd how she changed music. Elvis changed music alot casue he started singing rock'n roll when rock'n'roll was frowned apon and made others follow him. But the beatles were still so much better and influenced so many more people from all types of music.

This has nothing to do with the subject, but I find it heartwarming that a 30+ year-old band is still being celebrated. Thank you so much for making the Beatles Fan Club! YOU ROCK!

I was listening to the beatles this weekend and i realised just how amazing they were, songs like Here Comes The Sun, A Day In The Life, Norwegian Wood, I'm Looking Through You, In My Life, Girl, Michelle and Nowhere Man. Esspically rubber soul that's my fav. album by them, before it was revolver. Now i will try buy some of thier earlier stuff.

I finally got my computer fixed and all my Beatles music back :D

Its a great 2-disk album, with songs like Back In The USSR, Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da, and While My Guitar Gently Weeps...

Sorry to double post :( but my favorite song has got to be "Glass Onion". I think that this song is so great because it was a mockery of all those people who looked to deep into beatles music.
