One example of a gaming hangover, is when you play 8 straight hours of Alien Hominid and you just stop playing. When you do, you get a throbbing headache, senses shot, slight blurry vision, and just fucking tired. Has anyone ever had one?

of course, like 8 hours is most of your day, of course you'll be tired.

Hell yes. Marathon sessions of FIFA, Halo and Fusion Frenzy can really fuck you up, but only when coupled with massive amounts of alcohol. Doing it sober would be stupid.

How to get rid of this:
1. Step outside
2. Fresh breath of air
3. Realise you have been wasting your life staring at a screen and find something else to do :-)

Actually, just any good amount of time in front of a video game. I know that the game determines how quick the hangover. Like just a lil while ago, I was playing Mario power Tennis and completed a profile for a whole character (not quick to do btw people). I have a crick in my neck, headache, backache, and I can still hear the "sudden death" service music in the background . . . *tries to go work on her music now, yeah right*

I got one of those, after 9 hour Morrowwind session.

That's why all the boxes say take a 15 minute break for every hour u play games.

But hell, who listens to boxes, I sure as hell dont. Halo2 10 hours and Sonic 2 Battle 12 hours, no breaks. Fun as hell I'll tell ya, but I think I took a step closer towards epilepsy becuz of it

yeah thats probably true. But now NIntendo is really trying to get it out. Well, obviously you are. I cant last 9 hours staring at the screen i just used 8 hours as an example...but still, damn, 9 hours of playing is crazy. (*not sarcasm*)

I'm very tired and I have a splitting headache. I have been playing Super Mario Kart for hours. Apparently games can damage your eyesight if you play enough.

When I was like 12 me and my buddy spent 72 hours straight on Legend of Zelda. Ofcourse that was when it first came out and that was like a hard game. Now I can run it on my emulator in about 30 minutes. Now I get pretty tired after about 5 minutes of a flash cartoon.

In those days long ago I remember playing Pokemon Blue so much that I began to hear the music when I stopped playing. im not talking about getting it your head because it is catchy, im talking about acctully hearing it in the backround. It always seemed a bit distorted in my head though.

one time i stayed up all nigth untill five with my couse playing timesplitters two.

and we kept playing the same level and allways all the weopons were grenade louncers it was awsem!!!

from playing too long one I get my hands on World or Warcraft.

Yes I have definetly had a couple. The ones that I can remember are when I first got Tony Hawks Underground. A total of 11 hours non stop was spent on that game. Theres also Medal of Honor; Frontline which I played for at least 9 hours on. Theres more than this I just cant remember them all.

I hated it, all day, and then I never played that game again for 5 hours in a day.

Ive never gotten a headache or something from playing too much videogames.

When that happened to me it coincided with my brother losing his GameBoy (we used to connect and trade and such). We just blamed it on it being in the car somewhere in the seats and we just couldn't find it. I'm going to continue to believe that is true.

Oh yeah I remember when I was alot younger, like 9 or so, I used to get headaches almost every week, or maybe even 2 or 3 times a week. I used as much as I could a day, and it was horrible for my health. Luckily, my eye sight is getting worse today, instead of then -_-

All this talk about getting sick from playing video games is starting to go over my head. Usually The most that ill play is up to 15 hours depending on what the game is. Once Im done playing my body feels pretty stiff and I feel the need to wipe my eyes. About the talk about getting epilepsy( or whatever its called) sounds rediculos to me. ( i think someone should check my spelling here while there replying
