That implies that 1 out of 20 handhelds are good, even though there have probably been only about 15 handheld consoles ever made.

You're absolutely right! Not a single phone ever made could ever play games on it.

Nor was there 6 versions or Gameboy, a sega gamegear, the PSP, or the countless other handheld electronic games.

Probably adds up to well over 500 different ones, and that is being very stingey in my estimation.

Besides which, I would get an XBox if I were you. Handhelds just aren't as much fun as consoles are. You have to contend with batteries, lesser graphics capabilities, a screen that moves when you move the controller, and all sorts of stuff. I'm a regular console fan myself, and always will be.

Get a Nintendo DS. Great Graphics. Great Battery life. Great games (well, not many at the moment, but alot of great ones are coming out in janurary.) Can play GBA games too(but not reguluar GB games or GBC games.)

x box has like what two games? DS doesn't have any games YET but i played one last night and those things are hella fun. More fun than x box or atleast i think. (i've played both) I'm not gettin either one though. PSP HERE I COME!!

X-box has a lot of games. Better graphics than DS. And you don't need to charge it in order to play.

Even though Halo is quite fun, I would buy the DS. Its cheaper, and you can play it anywhere. Its the perfect thing when you are in a boring place, or waiting room for anything. You have to charge the DS, but who gives a fuck? Just leave it charging while you sleep.

Most consoles aren't coming out until 2006, and we all know how release dates work. Don't expect anything untill close to late 2006.

From personal expierence, don't wait. Its better to have a new console all the time you could have been waiting.

As for which one, get the xbox. It's just all around better than every console out there right now.

I suggest halo, then halo 2 if you have money left.

If you like different types of games, tell me and i'll let you know which ones are the best for xbox.

I'd get a DS, cause it has good graphics for a handheld (better than N64's), and xbox is coming out with a new system soon. And anyway, if you have a PS2 already, dont get an xbox, since most the games on PS2 are the games that are on xbox

Get an xbox, you should get a DS later when more good games come out for it. I got 2 games for DS, they both suck.
Sure the 'pictochat' is fun, but you have to be within 100feet of the person with another DS.

Xbox is ALOT better, and if you get an xbox with alittle extra money get an xbox live starter kit. A year of xbox live, headset, and it comes with a game for xbox live, for about 50-60$

xbox comes with 2 crappy sports games, ds comes with a demo of metroid.

The DS rocks hard over the XBox. Get DS. I hate XBox's and their fatass controllers, half of which is taken up by the XBox jewel.
