Ok, iv heard being christian (or something like that) makes u not allowed to masterbate, as it is a sin.

I just want to know, WHY is it a sin? its natural n all.

Because you're only allowed to use your penis to shove in somebodies vagina with the sole purpose of having babies.

Because Christainity is one of the few religons that ban pleasure.... but that rule was not added untill the mid-late middle ages

Actually the idea of "free will" is debateable in Christianity.
God is perfect and all knowing. (Which means EVERYTHING including past, present and future)

God has an unchangable plan for the universe. (You cannot alter god's plan)

So in that case, how can you make a choice? When you sin, god knew you were going to do it anyway.

Whoever quoted that google article hasn't read anything from the Bible. Satan was an angel. He could not create anything. He did not create sin either. The first sin was commited by Eve (and that is the reason why women have been considered inferior for such a long time).

Now, on to why masterbation is a sin. People had no idea what this white stuff was and went to the church for answers. In a quick spurt of holy-bullshit, they said "DEVIL FLUID!"

It does not say masterbating is a sin ONCE in the Bible. Don't listen to preachers, don't listen to other people. If you want answers about Christianity, read the Bible.

Dude...no lie...my gf is Presbyterian (another branch of Christianity which revolves around logic and not just the book) and she said masturbation is fine because it keeps you from having sex...probably explains why she does it a lot...

Oh, I should really read the entire Bible. I was going to, but as always, I got "preoccupied" with other things. I really should read it, since I do consider myself a Christian over any other religion.

It really does teach alot of important information to help make you a better person... although you must remember one thing.

The Bible is literally a compilation of stories that were ALL written about 200 years AFTER the death of Jesus Christ. There are over 2,000 stories/books that make up the Bible as a whole. The Pope along with all of the Cardinals went through the list picking the best ones to be chosen for the Bible.

TMYK: The depiction of hell as we know it now (layers of hell) was actually from a French poet in the 1700-1800's. I forgot his name though.
