Woof. Looks like everybody's jumping on this NGVAC radioplay bandwagon thing! I'd like to help out with all this, but this is a bad time for me.... Specifically a bad time in college that requires three essays of me in the next couple of weeks. I'd recommend starting with a script and then going from there.... Actually, starting with what CHARACTERS you want and then going from there. Improv is all well and good, but even that has to be partially scripted unless you want characters standing going "ahhhhh.... ummmm.... errrrr.....". Besides, it's not going to be a live recording and broadcast, so doing improv doesn't make nearly as much sense as putting some effort into scripting and making it good overall. In other NGVAC-related projects news: TVs_Slayer! I got yourscript and will be recording later, or something.

Also, that Morphemon thing.... I tried out for all the characters except the main male and the two females.... And got none of them. The guy said my voice is too deep, apparently. :-\ Well.... That sucks a lot, but at least I didn't spend TOO much time on recording all those lines that resulted in nothing. Still mondo disappointing, though. :-( Anyway, good luck to those of you trying out, though! Looks like a fun script. :-)

CorpseFucker sounds like he's trying to be a clever little boy. Isn't that cute? He's trying so hard to be anti-establishment you can see his eyes cross from the strain.

Corpse dude sounds pretty dumb....
Also it's kinda funny how he put "anything except ANIME" lol because that's what I want to do the most...Oh well, leave the anime voices to me! I don't mind calling him dumb because he's probably never going to check this again.

Sorry Oma! Even deep anime voices are pretty whiny =_O"" (Had to turn down a fellow Aussie cuz he sounds like Darth Vader =_=).

Ellair dont be so down on yourself...its not like Kagome is made of choclate...or...nah.
Im having trouble deciding between you two for the part of ZeeZee...if you could both send some more tries (and sound as super anime happy as possible...shes always happy)
And no one has yet fit the part of Nora.

oh and anyone have any idea i could get in touch with a miss Isca?

*Dixon: Shock_dingo

There should be a club where people do the animation and drawing for you (besides that Actionscript topic, and whatever art topics there may be). That way I could just write a script, come over to the VAC and round up people, then make somebody from the second club do whatever work was left, and take nearly complete credit myself.

*Sigh* Tis a quiet day here at the VAC, eh?

Bezo: W00t. I'm on another computer (which has flash player) and now am able to see your progress with yer flash movies and what not. Nice job!

CorpseFucker: Hey, at least I asked nicely. If anyone else had told you, you'd been given the bold text treatment *cough*Omahdon*cough*, you...you! Meh. Guess there's no use in calling you names, since your alias already suits you.

GooGum: Aw! And I had only auditioned for ZeeZee. ;-; Oh well, I suppose Kagome should get the part. I'm not able to record this week, my laptop, as well as my microphone, was confiscated from me. Thanks a lot, mom.

vel_jack: Huh?

Maddogmcree2: Welcome to the VAC Maddog! Thanks for having some examples of your voice. You are now officially a member of the VAC. Congrats. :) You will be added to the roster later. Have fun 'round these here parts. I reckon you will. Yeeup. Audition and post here regularly now, ya hear! </southern accent>

Thanks Elliair. It's hard work, and I still don't think I'm very good. But every time I do it, I get better and that's the important thing.

Kagome - How should I credit you? I'm liking my deleted scenes so much I may submit them seperately. ;) (Though still in Konquest Adventure Episode I, mind).

MadDogMcree2 - Good demo, but a little on the short side. You'd get a lot more mileage out of a sample like that in MP3 format. When submitting lines .WAV is best, but for anything you're going to have up on the 'net, .MP3 all the way. Compression, compression, compression. I cannot stress this enough. ;) It's kinda like artists who post their art in .BMP format. Only people with extremely good/large/expensive monitors will be able to tell the difference between a .BMP and a well compressed .JPG. Just like only people with really impressive speakers/headphones will be able to tell the difference between a .WAV and an .MP3.

Damn, I'm like a quarter-Omahdon today. Omahdon will probably feel the need to assert himself now and unleash the Giga-Post (collective gasp).

Omahdon - How do you pronounce your name anyway? Where's the syllabic emphasis? OH-mah-don? oh-MAH-don? oh-mah-DON? ;)

hey, do any of you guys know where i could get help for flash. as in people who can animate for me. i know this sounds like i'm imcompetent, but i'm writing a story for a flash, and i can't animate. don't tell me to learn, i can't draw either, and animating isn't my thing. i know this isn't related to this topic, but i'm getting to the voice acting part. i'm going to need voice actors for this flash, and lots of them, cuz it will become a series. it's based on lots of forms of entertainment like video games, anime and mangas.

kagome, sorry i haven't been very talkative lately. it's just my project has sort of hit a snag. mayb you don't even remember me. :) well, anyways, the project's still on, but it's going to take a while.

Bezo: I've always thought Omahdon's name would be pronounced oh-MAH-don. But I too, am not sure.

twilight_venom: Sorry Twilight, I'm not sure you'll be finding any animators willing to help you here. You can try the Flash forum, however I doubt you'll receive any positive response or anyone willing there. Just try making it yourself. Practice makes perfect (sometimes). And hopefully by the end of this week, if you start casting for any roles, I can audition for you. That is, if, I had convinced my mother to give me back my damned laptop and microphone by then. Or at least, my microphone. ;-; Anywho. Good luck with flash 'n stuff.

I figure Omahdon's name sounds like a Transformer's name would. Because that's sort of what it makes me think of. I bet he'd be a Decepticon, too. Or one of those other ones disguised as quality furniture or a toilet. Of course, I think that was after the death of Harry Goz. RIP

Heh, no. Actually, it was something I said to her, that apparently, made her really pissed off (can't really tell you what I exactly said). *Sigh* Oh well. All I know is, what came out of my mouth was the truth. And so, I suppose she thought she could take away the two things I might miss the most (laptop + microphone). Yup. But it won't last for long. I'll convince her to give 'em both back, one way or another.

By the way, hows the commercial thing coming?

Working on more art as of now, as well as a menu thingy for the movie. ^.^

oh my god, that made me laugh so much. anyways, i'll try to practice my animating skills, but as i said before, i suck at animation and it's simply not my thing. now, making stories and writing scripts, that's what i'm good at (i think). i know i'm a n00b, but that doesn't mean i'm less capable than anybody else.
