It would be brilliant kagome! It would allow us to play the character we want. Someone would need to direct such a grand radio play.....you should direct it since it is your club.

This would allow me to play my evil villian Magnus that has yet to be casted, just some ideas. There could even be a....prepare yourselves...a plot >_<

One more thought, I would be glad to host up a small page dedicated to the project as well. And when I speak of everybody, I mean the most active members.

I think it should be a collaboration sort of thing, because I'm not familiar with everyone's characters. Not sure how we would do it though.

And this isn't relevant at all, but I am currently wearing kitty ears. :3

You do have a point, so it may not be the easiest thing in the world to do, but it would be fun. I jsut have so many idea flowing through my noggin right now. Kitty ears eh? lol

Ideas:
--------
1.) Voice Acting Club takes over NG
2.) NG Battle Royale
3.) Perhaps something similar to superheroes but instead our characters get together to form a ttype of Aqua Teen Hunger Force (just change the name). They could battle the idiots of NG. There are TONS of stuff.

Or things don't have to be on such a grand scale and we could put together a mnuch smaller, simpler, radioplay (something that won't take up too much of our time)

Just read the suggestions about this, and hey, anything that gets me off my lazy ass to do stuff is alright with me. I'd probably just play my character Plastianx if I'm gonna be nutty, or my character Y-roc if I'm going to be bleak and callus. The suggestions made thus far sound like very good ideas. I'd add something, but it is time I passed out now!

Hey. I'm wating to join the NVAC, but I can't get my samples onto the internet and have it link to my geocities site or whatever. Could I just say on joining to have contact for samples? Or must I have a link for them? And if so, could anyone hook me up with a great site that would let me do so? Much obliged.

Another NGVAC project thingmajig? Wahey! XD Sounds like fun if someone would like to take the reins.... I mean, there's Elliair and Frog's Flash advertisement, as well as TVs_Slayer's project and TESM's thang. That's a lot of potential shows about the members of NGVAC that need to be brought to fruition, as well. Wouldn't it be better to concentrate on those first before leaping into this new thang?

That said, dumping ideas here is a good way to get them old grey matter working on a script so.... Go for it!

If you want to join the club, check out the How to Join? section of the Newgrounds' Voice Acting Club Roster. It'll provide the details for how to join, as well as help on how to fill the requirements. PLEASE DO NOT POST A PROFILE WITHOUT A SAMPLER UPLOADED SOMEWHERE FOR DOWNLOAD. DO NOT SAY "I'LL MAKE ONE LATER" OR "I'll GET A MICROPHONE IN THREE MONTHS" OR "EMAIL ME FOR SAMPLES PLZ, K?". GET A SAMPLER, HAVE IT UPLOADED AND LINK IT BEFORE POSTING YOUR PROFILE. THIS IS NOT A NEGOTIABLE POINT. THIS MESSAGE IS IN ALL-CAPS AND BOLDED FOR A REASON. SORRY IF IT SEEMS REPETITIVE, I JUST WANTED TO MAKE SURE THIS POINT WAS CONVEYED PROPERLY.

Ripway has really low bandwidth limits, so if too many people download your files it will go down for the day. I have this problem a lot so don't worry.

MaKd: Sure, I'd love to hear it!

Everyone else: Wow, you've all really taken my radio play idea into consideration, eh? I still do not know what it should be about. Something fun and funneh, of course. But I haven't any solid ideas yet. My brain's all washed out from the VAC Episode I'm working on with Frogs. That and the fact that I'm working extra hard in school nowadays. However, I think it should be something like this:

Genre: Comedy ('course) and maybe some other genre on the side.
Characters: I suppose everyone can choose what character they'd like to be. (Like Kagome can choose to be Haruko or Kagome, etc) However, if the 'choosing your own character' idea doesn't work for whatever reason, then we'll just have to appoint characters.
Featuring: Any of the more active members of the VAC. (You all know who you are)

That's all I have for right now. I suppose Bezo can mix it for us since he's such an audio editing whiz and Audigy can host it for us with his uber cool website and all. :) I'm not sure who should be the one running this project. I suppose I could do it since I put the radio play idea out there, but I'll need some help seein' as I'm so busy right now.

Also I do sort of agree with Omahdon. We should focus more on the VAC Episodes. But, then again, I guess it's okay to go on with this radio play idea. Especially since the episodes will take at least a month or two to be finalized, and the radio play will take only about two weeks tops? Just as long as we don't use lose ALL focus on the VAC Episodes, we can still do this radio play. So if you'd like to help or be in it, I suppose you can tell me here or talk to me via e-mail, AIM, or MSN. Whatever floats your boat.

Elliair: Enjoy the Chimp news? I'm seriously considering taking that role off my resume (Comic Guy) 'cause it was just cancelled. But it was also one of my first ... so I'm not sure ...

Ok. as far as this radioplay thing goes, i think this is a fantastic idea that can be done in a neat way.

First off, we need to get a group of actors and actresses into one MSN or AIM chat, and all open up our mics to each other and what not.

it will have to be structured, so i hope that if i can help organize it in any way with whoever wants to co-head this, we can make something pretty funny!

i think that as far as comedy goes, it should just flow. no real script, just a flow and confliction of personalities. seems sorta cheap, but i always loved the pure comedy that comes from just talking, and i think that would be cool.

who knows, if it's good enough, we could slap that on the Audio Portal and who knows? we could be a new generation for the audio portal.

and who knows? maybe the VAC and its members will slowly absorb ourselves into the audio portal.

if anyone would like to IM this to me and see what we could do, i would love to try. i think it'd be pretty cool.

the first topic would be great as shitty flash artists who don't put their shit together.

thoughts?

Here's a strange story ... I was online around 1 am, and checking out the forums and stuff, then I looked at my computer a while later and noticed the time was 3 am! I was like, "wow, time for bed." Guess my computer didn't ask about changing the time for Daylight Savings.

Alright, that sounds like an interesting idea, course we'd have to get everyone together all at once, but after that little hurdle yeah, some kind of improvisational rant. I'm loving the idea personally. Maybe could find some airplay on radiogrounds, nevermind only 10 people ever seem to be listening to it at one time. Sure got other projects going currently, but don't think I'm gonna lose my focus over a little random rant . Just the setups gonna take some work. Anyone else wanna throw in on it while the throwing is hot?

And speaking of other projects, the dialogue is finished after pulling out the majority of my hair and teeth in the process! So once I get everything chopped up I'll have another mass e-mailing orgy whist my yahoo address looks on confused as to why theres a sudden influx of outgoing e-mails when otherwise it never gets used.

Yeah, I'll commit to it. I've got MSN only, cause yahoo and aim suck. the e-mail address is my username @hotmail.com, it thats not predictable enough.

So we got any ideas on who we are gonna play here, or just doing ourselves? I'm just going to do whatever comes to mind.

MaKd: Yup, I got it. He wants me to audition for any of the girl parts. That script is crazy.

Hobbes: I think you should. Technically, since the cartoon never came out, it doesn't really count as a first role. :(

TESM: Whoa, hold your horses there. I didn't know we were going to do this thing right now. XD; Now I have no idea what's happening. But if you want to help me with it or be apart of it, my AIM is Elliairlel and MSN is elliair_lel[at]hotmail[dot]com. We still need to construct a story and crap, so getting the cast together right now is sort of jumping the gun a bit.

oh, and to El,

i never jump the gun, don't hurt my feelings like that.

i already brought out the idea and intent of it all, and the list is only those who are willing and we can work it out.

i thought i told you i'm perfectionist, and don't just rush into things.
