LazyKenny: No problem!

Hobbes: Gah. 2 hours of recording!? That sucks. :( And yeah...the roles around here aren't really much in size. When will these animators learn that if they have any available speaking characters in their animation, they should come HERE and get us lovely VAs to voice act for 'em. *Sigh* Hopefully these few VAC flash movies will get us the promotion that we all deserve.

Omahdon: Chocolate is teh yum. But not so great when it's covered all over you. 'Specially when someone is also licking it off you, too. O.o;

darkjellyfish: Hey, you e-mailed me earlier today I believe. Said you liked my voice. I replied to that e-mail a while ago, and sent a sample of the line you told me to record. I hope you got it. ^.^

Yeah, D-Mac's Mario is classic. But keep in mind he doesn't use any swear words so no foul-mouthed Mario. ;) Which is how most real Italian plumbers talk, but I digress. Mama mia!

So Hobbes is in it, and so am I. I'm playing Bowser and possibly Toad (I gave him the lines and he liked them, but I'm not sure if he's looking for someone else).

Aura Inc. also request the voice of a girl. We don't have any voice actors so this is why I'm asking for all this. We need a girl to do the voice of Jun Kaytis, the first person to join Alamar on his journey's. If you wish to help out Aura Inc. send a sample saying "I'm Jun Kaytis", "Right Behind you Alamar", or "Watch this." Jun's voice is more serious and seductive all at the same time. If you don't want to do Jun's voice here is something you can do. You can send a short sample saying "Jellyfish" in a high, quick, cheery voice. It is for the start of the movie.

All samples are to be sent to Aura Inc. at PsychoGoldfish@hotmail.com, this is the Creator of Aura Inc.'s e-mail address. Thank you. All voice actors will be put in both the Starting credits and ending credits of the films. Depending on how well the voice actors do, you maybe asked to join Aura Inc. Thank you again.

Hey...yea, I dont know if you remember, but I made a post back here like a month ago...yea anyway, I said I would have scenes animated by now for Kagomi to voice act to, but to be honest, I find it really hard to animate talking when I dont have an actual sound file to compare it to, then I have to guess waay too much. So anyway, kagomi you wouldnt mind just reading the lines right? (I'll give you the situation your in when I email the script to you) but first I need your email, but before I send you your lines, I need you to voice act these lines in a few different voices so I can pick out which voice I think will fit the character. The character is a woman in her early 20's or so, shes got like a "I can take you" attitude, you know she isnt like a girly girl, but she isnt like a guy, like right in between or something.

"Hey! Come back here! You tree hugger!" (shouting)
"Oh...listen I didnt know" (sorry)
"Lest kick some ass" (normal)

thats just some random thing I made up, its not in my actual script...btw my e-mail is Mercenary21389@hotmail.com anyway, you can post the different voices here, but when you do the actual script send it to me, oh and I need your email too.

Originally, I did it in a high squeaky voice, but PopUpBlocker said it wasn't annoying enough and he wanted something closer to Super Mario Advance so I whipped out the old GBA Emu...er...GBA and played some SMA then recorded again with a high squeaky (but also gravelly) voice and he liked it.

Hey Slu-- umm... I think I'll just refer to you as Justin. =)

Anyways, good job on including the required vocal demo with the profile you posted. You are now officially part of the VAC and Omahdon will soon add you to the VAC Roster and blah blah blah.

Now, about your demos...
In them, you definitely showed that you're a capable VA who belongs in this club. I really liked the "Forgive me my lord!" voice, as well as demo 5. The screaming part really added to it. =)

Now on the negative side, I noticed that you used software to alter your voice in quite a few of those mp3s.
Although it is handy if you're going to voice a robot in a flash movie, it's not very helpful in a vocal demo because it doesn't really show what you're capable of on your own. Virtually anyone can sound like a robot with the right software.

As I said before though, you've got a good amount of natural talent, and you should fit quite nicely here. =)

Thanks for the comments, and please forgive the username (I made it in 2000). I unfortunately didn't predict the future. Sure I could create a new username but I would lose my exp points. Please call me Justin. I will be throwing up more voices without FX applied to them.

Ayup. Shore is quiet round this 'ere parts. Why it's so quiet I can make a megapost at the end of the day and it'd still be on the same page as the one I made at the start. Maybe I'll go see what's on late-night TV. Or do some of that studying I'm supposed to do cause of all that college whack. Or something. ONWARDS!

Hobbes_The_Prince: Yeah, I'm just plain not auditioning for many things nowadays simply because I don't have time and because I have a have a backlog of lines I owe people anyway. I should probably do the responsible thing and get them out of the way.... But I just drink a tall glass of orange juice which I'm sure has cause exceptional havoc on my voice. Yeah. So I'll do it.... latah. And I have to admit, I've never done a straight recording session of 2 hours before.... I usually break up recording lines with editing them, filtering for noise, cutting up into seperate lines for the producers etc. Now that I think about it: I've never recorded stuff straight for more than 10 minutes at a time, if that.

Shock_Dingo: I'm covered in clam sauce and waiting at the local run-down seedy motel just 3 blocks away. Meet me there. @_@

Elliair: But I've been told licking chocolate sauce off people's bodies is exceptionally seXX0rz! Especially if you lick and nibble in the right places. @_@;;;

Shinigami_Ichigo: Made you look. :-P

audigy: Welcome! Your profile has been noted and will be added to the roster later. I have to admit, your samples used a higher than usual amount of artificial processing than I'm used to hearing in other samples, but when I could hear your natural voice it was pretty obvious you got some of the skills relevant to be here. And those skills are voice acting skillz, yarr. Welcome aboard!

D-Mac_Double: Thanks for the backup review of the sampleage! Keep in mind though, don't automatically say they're going to get on the list.... Cause the samples might not be up to par and need redoes or something. Just don't get people's hopes up or what not. O.o

Wow, this was a short megapost. I'm vaguely disappointed. Anyway.... Cull time approaching! Are u ready???? Well, silly and overdramatic question to ask, I guess. And HAPPY APRIL FOOL'S DAY for the poor saps amongst you who are still going through the day when pratfall jokes and physically dangerous pranks are mandatory. You poor, poor fools.

vel_jack - I gotta be honest, I'm not even sure most browsers can play .WMA files. .MP3 is best for samples (and universatility). What program are you using?
