Synopsis: Back in 2005 I made a flash game for Newgrounds entitled, "Dress Up That Fat Guy!". It was a fun, children-safe game that anyone could enjoy. I'm pleased to say that the voicing was terrible, so I'm making a sequel with better graphics and a voice actor!

Deadline: Basically, anytime soon, I'll be finished the game within a few months.

Name: The Fat Guy
Age: Around 35-40
Bio: Very Fat, smelly, all around gross.
Voice Type: He needs to have a strong Australian or American accent, and he's loud, not shy. I know it can be useful to know what your character looks like to voice him, so I've added a picture at the bottom.

Lines:

1. "Helloooo..." (In the intro to the game, he flies past yelling "Hello." In a sort of Mr. Bean-like way. I'll add a fade effect, so just yell steadily, don't try to fade your voice.)
2. "Do I look fat in this?"
3. "Could we hurry this up? I got a Hot Pocket in the microwave..."
4. "Is it just me, or is there a draft in here?"
5. "I like it, it really compliments the stretch marks on my gut."
6. "I wish my MMORPG had this much character custimization."
7. "It lifts, and seperates?! A triumph of human engineering!"
8. "Hello! Fashion statement!"

Deliverance

I've had this wonderful little script going for quite some time. The lines are aplenty, and I'd like to implament done voices by the end of this week, or a bit into the next week. I have not produced a serious flash for a long while, so what my submitted movies lack in visual quality, style, and story, I have vastly improved upon. In my following post I will provide links to some pictures of characters and a few frames from flash. Please, please, read the entire post, I know its long, but its bearable.

Characters

I'll list them in order of how demanding each is from greatest to least.

1. Owen - adult male (respectable, solid, cunning, nice person deep down, yet sad)
2. Casey - adult female (vengeful, deceptive, manipulative)
3. Charlie - adult male (questional morals, tragic, lonely, guilty and lost)
4. Rose - adult female (twin sister of Casey, could be same voice actress)
5. Michael - adult male (inocent, caring)

I don't request a particular type of 'voice'. I'd like characters to sound authentic and emotional. I know that voice actors when asked to make their voice something it isn't tend to lose bits of quality, and I'd don't feel the need to compramise your talents.

Story's plot, methods of progression, and tone
(its a bitch to sum up the plot without posting the script, but I gave it a go)

Plot: Owen's girlfriend, Rose, goes to reunite and share some big news with her identical twin sister, Casey, after years of lost contact. Rose meets her at Casey's secret lover, Michael's, house. Although Michael doesn't yet know that Casey is married to another man. That man is Charlie, and Charlie followed Casey to his house drunkenly and sees his wife being disloyal before his eyes. He charges in furiously and kills poor Michael and his wife. Or so he thinks he does. In an unfortunate mix up, he accidently killed Rose, Casey's sister, and Casey escapes unscathed, unseen, scared for her life, but vowing revenge. She sees Charlie drag the bodies into the cellar. She decides not to contact authorities and handle things personally when she is capable. She want's to see Charlie sweat.
Some time passes, and Casey meets Owen in a bar (coincidently?), not knowing his relationship to Rose. She is looking for a rich man to be with, and Owen fits the bill. But Owen discovers a girl that looks like his girlfriend Rose, and calls herself Rose, but he knows she isn't for reasons yet to be revealed. He figures its Rose's sister, and now he is even more concerned about Rose, who hasn't shown herself for a month. Things begin to look complicated and suspicious. To investigate his girlfriend's dissapereance, he plays along and dates Casey, and soon they purchase a personally invaluable house that has gone up on the market. It was Michael's house. The house where the corpses of their dearest lay. (Casey hasn't a clue who Owen really is, but he does of her. But Owen doesn't know what Casey knows: That his love/her sister was killed)
Casey wishes to clean out the cellar first thing. Although, one barrel of brandy won't budge, even Owen can't move it. They have some friends over to help, but it still won't budge. They throw a house warming party, and decide to serve the brandy to their guests to empty it. During this party, Casey runs into her old husband, Charles, who lives close in town. But she 'is Rose' not Casey, and Charles having never met Casey mean's she is safe from suspicion. Unknowingly to her, Charlie is Owen's brother, who he also lost contact with a while back (as Rose and Casey did) but by chance Owen and Charlie do not run into eachother at the party. She asks him if he wants Brandy, but he tells her he doesn't drink. Instantly she knows where in the cellar the bodies are - The barrel.
Day or two after the party, the barrel still won't move. So Owen decides to saw off its top. Inside he finds two bodies preserved in the remaining alcohol - His real Rose and Michael. He hear's a car start up and runs outside to see Casey driving off. Owen runs into his room opening a box and holstering a pistol. He hops into his car and follows far behind Casey. Casey is on her way to Charlie's house to kill him. She bear's a knife, and sneaks in through the back. But Charles catches her and ties her up.
Owen catches up, and reads the last name on the mailbox .. It's his. Running into the house he see's his brother Charlie holding Casey hostage. This is the final confrontation. It begins to rain heavily outside. --excerpt from script>

Charlie “I got married some years back to the twin sister of Rose. Her name was Casey I’m sure you know all this shit already. But Casey was disloyal to me, Owen. She was disloyal to me. I followed her one night and saw them .. together.. I did everything to keep her happy but I just wasn’t enough for her Owen. I just wasn’t enough. I was drunk and I had a revolver under my car seat. I just lost it Owen. Fucking lost it bad. But those two had it coming to them though, they fucking had it coming. They had it coming real bad. I mean I thought me and Casey’s love was pure. I just couldn’t fucking take it, its not ri-“

Owen shoots him in the head.
Casey is very startled.

Owen “Its going to be okay Rosey, it’ll be alright.”
Owen unties her hands and takes the tape off of her mouth.

Casey runs up to him crying, embracing him.

Owen “It’ll be alright Casey.”

Casey “Wha-“

Owen shoots her in the stomach.

Owen “The acts up you two faced bitch. How dare you pretend to be my Rose. How fucking dare you”.....

The story progresses through a series of flashbacks cut into the present (When Casey and Owen move into the house and onward) throughout the flash. It is structured in that new twists and unexpected occurances are more suprising and hold your interest throughout. Therefor, he summary I provided is not how the actual timeline is arranged.

I am also somewhat of a singer, not high quality mind you, but well enough to get the job done if needed. I use the audacity program for all my stuff, and very rarely does it give any problems, and the only readon there's interference with the audio now is because I don't have the money to get one currently, but will solve the problem, ASAP. As a final note, my grammar isn't all to well, so if I ramble and cause confusion, just lemme know and I'll see what I can do to translate from gibberish into comprehensible speech.

My name is Brian S. and I am best known as the animator for Imperial Rage EX, the Skywalkers and Slowloft 1 & 2. I am currently finishing the last bits of my latest animated film, "The Rebels." To do this, I need two voice actors to complete about 3 lines each. The first voice I need is a convincing Darth Vader who will be in conversation with the emperor. The second is an old warrior (like a 70 year old marine sergent with a texas gruff) I DO NOT need bad teenaged "over-modulated" versions of these, but as accurate as can be.

Description: Based on Homer's The Odyssey, The Life Cosmotic is the first title in a trilogy already in production with a prequel being drawn up. Odysseus, a commander of a unit of marines, is on his journey home after the war with Ilium ended in success. On a fateful day, however, he encounters what at first appears to be a rag-tag group of mercs and pirates, but ends up being far worse. Something sinister taints Odysseus's trip back home.

While browsing the newgrounds forums, I found the voice actor forum. I was hoping I could get you to audition for a movie that I made using the game The Movies. The movie I made is a sci-fi/action/adventure called The Odyssey: The Life Cosmotic. It is largely based from Homer's They Odyssey. I tried to remain as true to Homer's works as possible without making it a documentary. There are MANY roles that still need to be filled, so I'll have you audition multiple lines if you would like, or you could just try one or two.
