Hey, I know you. Yea, your the only one who only went to the VAA. The VAA tends to be more for fandubs and radioplays, while the VAC is more for flash animations/games (basically, it's this place only less sucky).

Tiz also a great place fer VA's =D

Agreed, although it can be full of drama from time to time.

ATTENTION VOICE ACTORS AND THOSE SEARCHING FOR THEM: READ THIS!

The Newgrounds Voice Acting Club is extremely dead, and not many voice actors check here except me and a few other new voice actors. However, this does not mean you won't be able to have access to a wide variety of voice actors. Quite the opposite actually.

THERE ARE A WIDE VARIETY OF VOICE ACTORS AVAILABLE, THEY HAVE JUST MIGRATED TO A DIFFERENT FORUM.

Now, I present that very forum. It is this forum basically, only moved to a seperate forum, to be able to be more organized. That place is the Voice Acting Club.

Yes, the Voice Acting Club. is much more populated, and has a wider variety of voice actors, including such semi-famous voice actors as KagomeHigurashi and D-Mac Double. If you want your production to get the best voice actors, or you are a voice actor and want the maximum number of things to audition for, the Voice Acting Club. is the place to join.

For producers, all you have to do is register, read the rules, and post your audition, making sure to follow the guidelines. Then, you will be sure to get a wide variety of voice actors. For those who want to voice act, just look for producers holding auditions, and audition for them. It's much easier to navigate, and, you will see, the Voice Acting Club. is much more user-friendly than this outdated board.

I hope to see you all there, and wish you the best of luck with your productions and voice acting aspirations.

Okay, I'm making a fairly odd game. It's going to be cool when it's done, and I'm working on it now. I'm adding in voices.

Keep in mind that when you audition for this, be ready for some strangeee lines. Nothing R-rated, just veryyy strange.

ROLES:

Cloud- Yes, the main character of Final Fantasy VII makes a cameo appearance. Being familiar with the character is a plus.
Audition line: "Do you know anyone by the name of Sephiroth?"

Diagon- A weird man in his 30's; alittle on the crazy side.
Should have a rough, "smoker" voice.
Audition line: "Heh. Anything you've ever done for me involved lighting my friends, family, and pet dolphin on fire."

I also need some random, strange voices. A wide array of accents, impediments, and tones of voices could be used. You will be fully credited for any and all roles you play that are used in the final game. Female voices are also a big help.
Audition line for any random character voice: "Hahaha, that's just plain silly. I'm not your enemy!"

If interested, please email me at quirk99@sbcglobal.net with the audition line(s) attached

Nope, it's still active and thriving. They just changed the skin their, so it looks completely different.

Actually, it might slow down due to school just starting for a lot of people, but it's always like that.

I need a couple of voices for my next episode (you can probably guess what it is... although its meant to be a surprise-like thing):

Commercial: (prefferably a female voice, soothing medicine commercial voice)
- does your teen constantly seek privacy in their room, but craves attention on the
internet? Then maybe your child has emo-sintitis: a disease that fades the skin and queers
the hair. The cure is here. Call now for a certified clinical smack in the head.

- 1-800-NO-ANGST !!! ***this would probably be best as a male voice screaming very, very close to the mic so it sounds insane and distorted. I've been trying this one myself, but i suck too much***
------------------------------------------
---------------------
News: (just typical male news announcer guy voice)
- Hello, I'm... Herpes McGee...? and this just in:
- reports say organized crime gang in local prison are looking for new members.
- Gangsters are known for serial decapitation and man-slaughter.
- APPLY NOW FOR FALL OPENINGS!!

- - This is JNN News: Special Report with Herpes McGee... en ingles. ***this is that intro voice at the begining of a typical news telecast***
------------------------------------------
---------------------
White Mage: (male, and slightly deep. For examples think of Carl from Aqua Teen Hunger Force or the white-haired conscience guy from 'Blockhead' on newgrounds) ***Do only WM!***
WM: you know, white mages dont always have to be girls!
BM: you sure?
WM: yes. Now, let's get outta this craphole!
------------------------------------------
---------------------

If you decided to help me out, then youre awesome and have the liberty to email me whenever for any type of question: pronunciation, emotion, whatever.

Ooookay, I need a voice I tell ya!

It's an elderly female storyteller which says this big piece:

In the time that people see as the beginning, a girl wandered the universe in search of something to create.

After many thousand years, she found a stone floating nearby. Out of this she created a planet, which she gave the name Gellon.

Out of the sand and stone she created a guardian to watch over the planet, and named him Kyrbegk.

After ten thousands of year with nothing to create, she was afraid that her world would never be completed, so she started to cry. Her tears then filled all the deeps of Gellon with water, creating the oceans and the seas.

As the water came, life started to flourish, and all sorts of creatures started living in the world they called Sinet Saar.

And as the animals evolved, one type of animal became smarter than most other creatures: The Emalns.

The two Emalns that where considered to be the first ones were called Heirold and Kelfa, and became guardians of all life.

The girl made one last guardian: Faltos, the protector of water.

After the girl had watched over the new world for over thousands years,
she left to create more in the neverending universe.

Just before she left, she raised a giant tree in the middle of the world, and she said:
"Remember me through this tree, forget me and the world will wither along
with the tree"

Thanks for all contribution

Yo, I need a voice actor. This VA must sound like Lieutenant Colonel Hughes from Fullmetal Alchemist. The dude with the daughter, the glasses, and who died early in the show.

It's alright if you don't have a demo or resume yet. You can post one whenever you get one.

Basically put your stuff like that in another post.
Also join the voice acting club forum .

Hey all, I'm back on the animation scene with a new parody under construction: "Phoenix Wright: Asshole Attorney" (Before the complaints begin, I've wanted to do a PW parody before Phoenix Wrong was made and it's not the same idea). However, I need some voice actors to play a few people. Preferably all American voice acting (since the game's based in America). Here are the characters I need voice actors for and, if I've listed them with a soundbyte, it would be helpful if your voice acting sounded like that. I will also need people, particularly the Phoenix voice, to swear. I'm sure no one has a problem with that but I say that just incase. Anyways, I need voices for the following characters:

Phoenix Wright
Picture
Soundbyte
Sample line: "Your honour, I'd like to point out to the jury that the prosecutor is a douche bag."

Miles Edgeworth
Picture
Soundbyte
Sample line: "All the evidence here is decisive, it is clear that the defendant is guilty."

Winston Payne
Picture
Soundbyte
Sample line: "Your honour! I object to this Flash animation! It's made with sprites and therefore clearly took no skill or effort to make!"

The Judge
Picture
Sample line: "The defense's comment is duely noted and agreed upon. The prosecution will shut the fuck up."

Any samples, please send to cosmic_cruton@hotmail.com

Thanks!
