Okay, stop posting the this thread is dead post, If it is, why are people still postin here? This thread is clearly NOT dead, it may not be as active as VAC, but spamming the thread with go away messages when people still want to post here is very rude.

This thread has served it's purpose. It was very alive at one time, but now it is dead in the aspect of voice actors. Me, and all of the other voice actors who post the links to the VAC are helping the producers. Only 2 or 3 voice actors check here, as opposed to the 20 something at the VAC. Since there is no other way to notify producers about this, we must post these "Go Away", as you put it, threads, for the voice actors and the producers. They bring more people to the VAC, get more work for the voice actors there, and make sure the producers get more people. Is it really fair to make producers choose from 2 or 3 voice actors, all who are guys I might add. The only girl that somewhat checks here is Kagome.

We are trying to make the voice acting community more organized. Having 3 different voice acting forums/thread is strenuous and not needed. We have the VAA, which is for fandubs and radioplays, the VAC, which is for Flash, and the NGVAC, which is also for Flash. Having two seperate Flash voice acting forums is just silly. Honestely, most of the people at the VAC just wish that the Newgrounds staff puts up a sticky linking to the Voice Acting Club, and locked this thread.

I mean, honestely, let's face it. The Newgrounds VAC is easy to spam, unorganized, and has barely any voice actors checking here. And since the mods in Newgrounds suck (sorry but it's really true), anyone can come in here and just say "WELL U GUYZ SUXXORS LOL" and spam the hell out of this place. At the VAC, the competent mods actually can and do ban people who don't follow the rules and are there just to spam. You can post your projects, get critiques on demo, and tons of other voice acting related things.

If you're a voice actor, nothing is stopping you from coming to the VAC. It has at least 3 times as many auditions being held, and it's 10 times more organized. There is absolutely no need what-so-ever to be here. The voice acting community here is almost non-existant, while at the VAC, we hold weekly VAC chats, and everyone gets along just fine. There is always someone on the NGVAC who trys to keep it alive, but they always move to the VAC and never come back here.

By the way, this isn't spam. All of the people who are posting these links are still talking about voice acting.

Trust me, if you stay here, your amateur voice acting career will not flourish, and you won't improve nearly as much as at the VAC.

I know this isn't required, but I do believe we owe Kagome our thanks for the last 400+ pages. So with all respects, I raise my glass to you for a toast.

I don't have much to tell you guys about Kagome and all, as you should already know who she is. I mean, have you seen the people who had signed her guestbook? The list is in the thosands. Filled with "Do you voice in Inuyasha?" and "I love your voice!". Kagome is a voice actor, and she has shown to me and many others how much she cares about the little people. I mean, little people.. not GrantM. He's just low. I was 'the little people' for a long time. Kagome gives advice to people, she's polite to people, and hell, she made this Club on the Newgrounds BBS, and other clubs in other places. So thanks Kagome, for all you had to offer us in this club. You've deserve some recognition.

And now, rest in peace, this place has died. Move on to: http://voiceacting.proboards62.com/ Please sign up, and enjoy the rest of our lives together.. if you're that committed.

Hey Omahdon, I think it might be a good idea to ask a Mod to lock this thread, with the final "tape recording" thing to close it.

If you have AIM, you can talk to a mod now: Threkkster

Hi,

I'm remaking the Flash movie (in my profile) and I'm asking for someone who has an okay french and japanese accent, but can speak english with no accent, and has a deep voice. To see the lines I'm askig for you to do, watch my Flash. The very beginning and end have some lines that could be done.

-Thank you

1) Mods never listen to anyone, ever. And I mean ever. You know how many mods I've sent pm's to about a voice acting sticky. Out of the 4 or 5 I've sent to 0 responded?
2) If we lock this, there would have to be some way to show people looking to be/use voice actors where to go. Like A STICKY ON THE AUDIO FORUM. If that get's put up, this should definitely be locked.

I need two female and two male vocals to read the following lines:

Female 1 -
"What does Father want with him?"
"He's only our half brother? Doesn't mean I have to like him."
"His past will get the better of him."

All of them need a sort of snotty tone. This is the eldest sister. (Second oldest child.)

Female 2 -
"You mean he doesn't know?"
"Why was he allowed to join us?"
"He's afraid of us, you know."

This is the second youngest sibling. She's a bit more peppy, but still rather dark in tone.

Male 1 -
"Should we just kill him again?"
"Isn't he half human?"
"His poor mother...yeah, right."

A deep, cocky tone. The third line should sound sympathetic, then end scoffingly. (Eldest child.)

Male 2 -
"Who does he think he is?"
"He's too weak to be the next."
"He couldn't even reap a guy with cancer."

This guy is an intelectual, and flaunts it. Very cocky tone. (Youngest son.)

Thanks to all takers in advance! I'll post an updated list on who gets what once I start listening to files. MP3 please! ^_^

ATTENTION VOICE ACTORS AND THOSE SEARCHING FOR THEM: READ THIS!

The Newgrounds Voice Acting Club is extremely dead, and not many voice actors check here except me and a few other new voice actors. However, this does not mean you won't be able to have access to a wide variety of voice actors. Quite the opposite actually.

THERE ARE A WIDE VARIETY OF VOICE ACTORS AVAILABLE, THEY HAVE JUST MIGRATED TO A DIFFERENT FORUM.

Now, I present that very forum. It is this forum basically, only moved to a seperate forum, to be able to be more organized. That place is the Voice Acting Club.

Yes, the Voice Acting Club. is much more populated, and has a wider variety of voice actors, including such semi-famous voice actors as KagomeHigurashi and D-Mac Double. If you want your production to get the best voice actors, or you are a voice actor and want the maximum number of things to audition for, the Voice Acting Club. is the place to join.

For producers, all you have to do is register, read the rules, and post your audition, making sure to follow the guidelines. Then, you will be sure to get a wide variety of voice actors. For those who want to voice act, just look for producers holding auditions, and audition for them. It's much easier to navigate, and, you will see, the Voice Acting Club. is much more user-friendly than this outdated board.

I hope to see you all there, and wish you the best of luck with your productions and voice acting aspirations.

I'm working in this proyect, It's called Spiegel, It's a four-or-more chapter series about the diferent stories of some guys that visit the haunted town of their childhood.
I'm currently on the first chapter "The deformed Brother" and I need at least two voice actors, One voice actor for Timmy, a tragedy itself who got born deformed and was killed by his neighbours who confused him with the psyco that was on a killing spree by the time he got out of the basement of his parents home.
The other for Walter J. Kohler, a crazy sociopath who was investigating in life for the mistery of Timmy and who was the main neighbour to kill Timmy, and later in dead the one who tried to destroy Timmy by deceiving Timmy's brother, Francis (Main character, voice by me).
The movie is actually some kind of Flash excersise, Im gona make a stick movie but take away the senseless battles, adding cinematic efects and those stuff to improve some of my technique.

If you're interested you can e-mail me to jorgeadrianjuarez@hotmail.com
send me a sample of your voices saying this dialog:

For Timmy: Brother. Why are you doing this?

For Walter: (Bad quality sound so it appears to be a recording) What I'm gonna tell you is a secret that only you should know, belive me. If this was as easy as going to your home to tell you this I'd already do that
