I'm doing a project on my own that I have no intent to submit here or anywhere else on the internet, but isn't exactly legal never-the-less. If you help me out though, I can give you a copy of the final work. I need 1 or 2 people for this project though with very specific voices though, that can keep this on the dl. I need a guy with a higher than average voice (without trying to make it high pitched, it needs to be natural.) I might also need a second person to do a more throughty/nasaly voice. If you're interested PM me and I'll give you a little more detail.

Thank you.

Gamemasterboy: That setup is for people who want to voice act, not people holding auditions.

Hey guys,

I and another person are making a game and are needing some recordings of new reports. I'll script it out, I just need a male who can do an announcers voice. or sound like a reporter. Acting is a must. You will obviously be credited in the game. I dont have the ability to record my self so that's why i'm asking. If interested PM me or email me at csw_designs@yahoo.com

Thanks

chris.

I wanted a good voice actor so I decided to come here.

Anyway, does everybody know about Red vs Blue? The Halo thing. Does everyone know about Bob and Steve? The splinter cell thing.

It's like a game turned into a movie with voice acting and such. well, I'm going to do a series like that but with Ratchet and clank the series. All the pros for these games have gattered up and we are ready to make a series. Although, I can't go of asking anyone to voice act. I need good voice actors.

If you want in, please go here or PM me on this site.

But going to the link will help you understand what I'm talking about a bit more so I recommend clicking on it. (I'm Readinglevelup)

OK, time to do some major linking.

ATTENTION VOICE ACTORS AND THOSE SEARCHING FOR THEM: READ THIS!

The Newgrounds Voice Acting Club is extremely dead, and not many voice actors check here except me and a few other new voice actors. However, this does not mean you won't be able to have access to a wide variety of voice actors. Quite the opposite actually.

THERE ARE A WIDE VARIETY OF VOICE ACTORS AVAILABLE, THEY HAVE JUST MIGRATED TO A DIFFERENT FORUM.

Now, I present that very forum. It is this forum basically, only moved to a seperate forum, to be able to be more organized. That place is the Voice Acting Club.

Yes, the Voice Acting Club is much more populated, and has a wider variety of voice actors, including such semi-famous voice actors as KagomeHigurashi and D-Mac Double. If you want your production to get the best voice actors, or you are a voice actor and want the maximum number of things to audition for, the Voice Acting Club is the place to join.

For producers, all you have to do is register, read the rules, and post your audition, making sure to follow the guidelines. Then, you will be sure to get a wide variety of voice actors. For those who want to voice act, just look for producers holding auditions, and audition for them. It's much easier to navigate, and, you will see, the Voice Acting Club is much more user-friendly than this outdated board.

I hope to see you all there, and wish you the best of luck with your productions and voice acting aspirations.

You may or may not know me...Im CoolDrMoney :D. Anyway our series in which we use Counter-Strike to record (hopefully) humourous ideas and sketches is in a bit of trouble! A lot of our crew is now busy and all our other members...to put it quite frankly...suck at voice acting. We could use anyone's help. They just have to have a nice voice, and acting skills. For those of you who have been watching our shows, were now going to dub our voices in, so the sound quality will no longer be suckass.

Anyway my point is we need some voice talent! Here is a link if you are interested.
www.cttv.us/forums

Go to the "CTTV" section and click on the "Looking for new voice talent etc" forum. Then post in the stickied thread.

Thank you all for your time. CoolDr out! :D

I need a voice for this character "General". I'm already almost done the animation, I just need a voice for this character.

Type of voice: preferably deep, maniacal, and sadistic

Example of something he'll say:

"Yes. [Maniacal laughter] Your purpose has been served. Misery, Lotus, and Weapon are already dead! You’re the last!"

e-mail me: shane_s88@hotmail.com

Thanks!

Please do not look at past episodes as references to what we were doing. I was 15 when I was doing all of that and alot of it was edited in windows movie maker. Since then I've learned alot about moviemaking. Episode 5 of CTTV is closer to what we'll be doing.

So if you're willing to give it a whirl contact us! We'd love to have you aboard. Voice must be veristile and if you have the game (Counter-Strike) that would be nice too, although not required.

We're looking for people who can really get into the characters and are able to take some direction. CoolDrMoney usually has an idea of what he would like the lines to sound like so its good to be able to copy him as best you can, but also feel free to add anything you may think could better it.

This is just some basic information to help you better understand what we're doing. Good luck and have fun with it.

I just joined the boards, and yeah, I'd like to get into voice acting,
I dont have any formal credentials, but I have been trained by a proffesional singer and done some amutear radio work recently.
I will in future also be looking for voice actors for some animations I look forward to producing myself, but perhaps not for some time.
Anyways, here are my details;

-Your name or screen name
White Wolf is my usual, I switch alot on msn though

-Gender

Male

-Age range (not how old you actually are, but what ages you are able to sound like)

I like to think I can hit anywhere between 14 and late 30s or 40s, but I havent tried anything beyond that.

-Specialties (screaming, anime voices, monster voices, etc.)

I have a decent grasp of the Japanese language and a good accent, I can imitate Japanese Sephiroth rather well. I can do Gollum and similar works.
Because Im Australian, I have the accent down pretty well, but I can do a decent North American accent(amongst others), and I take direction well.

-Resume URL (if you have one)

No voice specific resume as of yet, hoping to develop one.

-Example(s) of your voice

There are some very low fi recordings I did for 'The No Life Show'
which you can find here
I am in 15 minutes into show 5 onwards, its not amazing stuff, but it gives you an idea of my relaxed normal voice

-Ways to contact you

MSN: neobahamet1@hotmail.com
Skype: white_w0lf86
I hang out on Ventrillo and Teamspeak often too, if it helps.

It doesn't matter how much experience you have, half the people there don't have much experience either.
