Show R Studios, you should put some audition lines up. I'm interested in Shadow, but you should put up a quote or two for each character.

I have yet to do some voic acting, but I xan do a pretty good range of voices and accents and thought this might be a good place to start ^_^

Well you have come to the righ place. Just make sure you
A) Have a microphone
B) Have a demo of your voice

Then just fill out the following

Name: Your Voice acting alias
Age: Ages you can voice
Specialties: Different specific speicalties you can actually do
Demo: A link to your demo (put the demo on putfile.com or something like that)
Resume: If you have any sort of resume for voice acting, then put it on
Contact: Email or aim

Well, hope to see you on the Newgrounds Voice Acting Club. Be sure to become very active and try out for alot of stuff.

I just wrote an entire huge-ass post for character voice descriptions and voice demo auditions on Voice Actor's Club...and there was an error....and the whole thing got deleted......

I have to say, you have a good Sasuke voice, you just need to make it a little louder. What sort of editing program do you have?

No, I was talking to Yusuke198.

If you want to join, then you're gonna have to get a microphone. Remember YOU CANNOT RECORD YOUR VOICE WITHOUT A MICROPHONE. It probably goes without saying, but alot of people try to join without one. I suggest buying one from Radioshack or Bestbuy for $20-$30. I also suggest getting a wind screen as it will definitely make your recording much better quality.

Ok, so you got your stuff, now you have to make a demo to join. This demo should be at least 30 seconds long, and no longer than 2 minutes. It should give a good example to producers what your voice sounds like. It should contain a broad range of voices, and if you can, try to put in some sort of music in the backround. I suggest using audacity to record on. It's free and easy to use. Here is the download site. If you have any problems figuring it out, just contact me and I'll help.

After you finish your demo, then you can officially join. Here is the template.

Name: Not your real name, but your alias or aliases
Gender: (NEW!) I decided to add this to make things easier. It's pretty self explanitory.
Age: Again, not your real age, but ages you can voice.
Specialties: What basic voice types you are best at voicing. Popular characters you can sound like. Impersinations. Accents. All that goes here. Make sure you don't say "I can do any voice" because, unless you are the Jesus of Voice Acting, you can't.
Demo: Put the demo on Putfile and then you can put it up here.
Resume: If you have your own website and have done work before, but a link to a resume here. Just look at mine to answer your questions.
Contact: Email, Yahoo, and/or AIM go here.

Good, I suggest highlighting each line, then using the Normalize (on effect bar on toolbar) button to make it louder. This will make it so all of the lines you record have the same, fairly high, yet not too loud, volume. Then, where there is a space of basically silence, when you are not saying anything, go to Noise Removal (right above Normalize), and click Get Noise Profile. This will tell the computer any backround noise that is in the line you recorded. Then highlight the entire line and go to Noise Removal. Move the bar all the way too the left (this will keep your lines from seeming too robotic-like) then you just click remove noise. There you have it. My guide to Audacity. That will make your lines an easy volume to hear, while not making the buzzing in the backround loud at all.
