Well, some do some don't. Ideally, it's nice to have your own websace in order to get direct links. I, for one, keep my animation demo on putfile. It's alot safer from deletion if you have it safe in your own webspace (and keep a file copy)

Yesterday I started working on a platformer and I need a voice of an adult. Details about the voice:

- Age: About 50.
- Type: Weak, quite low voice.
- Sounds as if he is thinking aloud.

"I cannot pass through this, I need to find a way to get to the other side...".

"Hmmm... A lever... Maybe I can do something with it..."

"The bridge is not stable, I'll try not to walk on it too much... "

"The bridge is broken! I'd rather go on the safe side and not fall into it.
What about jumping on those rocks...?"

Please add me - darktoaster@hotmail.com. If you have msn 7.5 just record it and send through msn.

Yeah I got it very good I must say, not the exact words I said, but it's ok. You will get credit so don't worry about that.

I still need the disgusting eating sound again note no chewing.

Kagome, I have a very good challenge idea for the month of December. I need your permission before I post it. It's very appropriate and I think it has a good meaning.

wanted to join his voice acting club

-Your name or screen name- Alex Aka King
-Gender- Male
-Age range - 16 - 25
-Specialties - Accents
-Example(s) of your voice - Can imitate almost any kind of accent: british, scottish, irish, australian, russian and stereotypical mexican (not really an accent lol)
-Ways to contact you - email me at Alex_A_Borzov@yahoo.com

Also I am allready finished with a flash project but I am missing a voice, I am looking for somebody that can make a voice of a guy villain possibly an older sounding voice. The role is a boss of an agency so he has to sound professional and calm. Maybe a bit gruff.

If anyone is interested in the lines for the script, just e-mail me i'll send em over

I do, but it's not required. I just found it easier to get a domain because I had more control over what I could upload and have ftp access and direct linking.

Here's where I got my stuff-
Domain name: http://www.domainsarefree.com ($4 per year)
Web hosting: http://www.sweethosting.net ($3 per month)

They have really great service so far so I definitely recommend them if you're looking into getting a paid host.

A while back I was blessed with having some of you wonderfully tallented people do some voices for a flash movie of mine. Just letting everyone know that it's ready done and ready for some viewin'.
You can watch it here:

Hey, just here to plug...

God Warriors from CheveLoco and, The Collective #1 from Andy Parker. Both also featuring the much absent Omahdon/Edwyn.

Don't be fooled by the credits. Ryan McCormack = Frogs.

The VAC Challenges have been put on hold until January. The lesson we learned in October is that months with holidays in them are too busy for most people to write a script here. So, I think the next one will be the "Movie Trailer" challenge (Shock, I think you suggested this idea?). BUT, if someone wants to issue their own challenge in the mean time they are free to do so.

I like the movie trailer idea, but I think we ought to try a face off thing where a VA could do a thing where they do their best 3 characters.

Well the VAC Challenges were never meant to be a competition. And also they are meant to challeneg you, not just have you do what you're already good at. But whatever. If someone wants to issue a challenge then go for it.

Both challenges sound fun. I think my best character would be Ichigo Momomiya from Tokyo Mew Mew, because I'm always told that I sound like her Japanese voice.

Anyway...off to do math homework, even though I'd rather be watching Naruto.

Well, I've been bad at keeping up.

Like Frogs, I'd also like to plug God Warriors, but I'm also saying that with the steady approach of the end of the semester, I'll be around more to pitch in here and there. Maybe not just yet, though, as I still ahve a paper to write and finals this coming week. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to end with a remark that suggests I'm from a different region of the world than the one in which I currently reside.

Cheers mate!

Well, the only challenge idea I have would be to tell us in a recording (1-3 minutes) what they will do for the Christmas Holidays or what they do for Christmas. This could be relatives coming to your house, you going to your grandparents house for dinner, or just.. for the Christmas Holidays I'm playing videogames. Tell us in detail.

That was about it, though I think it'll be too late to start.

Hi everyone, I'm needing some voice actors for a LOTR flash movie that I've made some time ago: The Cockroach Man VS The One Ring. You can check the original version in portuguese here . I would dub it myself but I don't think my english is good enough for this (yes, I can write well but can't speak without a weird accent).
Need voices for Gandalf, Elrond, Frodo, Aragorn, Legolas, Sauron, Sauron's "General", Gimli and Gollum. Also need people for the Cockroach Man, don't know how to describe his voice exaclty, if you're interested I sugest you to see the portuguese version.
Contact me by MSN Messenger (homembarata@ig.com.br) or send me an email (homembarata@gmail.com).

Thanks.

Ok I'm in need of an extremely talented vocalist now.

For this one I'd need a guy and a girl.with a pretty masculine voice....Not to masculine tho.

The Guy should have a pretty masculine voice, not to rough but still pretty masculine.

The Girl should have a pretty soft and but still powerfull voice.

The guy would sing mostly monotone because I'll add some kind of vocoder effect onto the vocals. The girl however will have to sing the 2 verses and the chorus.

Another thing would be that your mic has to have this anti flimmer thing ( so it'll only pick up your song).

And that'd be for my Groove coverage remix which will be released the 22 of Dec if I get the vocals for it.

I'll find the lyrics, mix your voice and fit it into the track. All I ask you to do is sing.

I'm compiling my final track to get a record deal, and full credit will be given for your vocals.

I'm pretty tired so if you are interested or want to know more please email me.

Hmm, are you using Fruity Loops Studio? Reason and Acid maybe? I can try the male vocals. I don't have a singing demo, but there are spoken demos linked in my sig. I can get a nice isolated recording for ya, and I can line it up to a grid in Protools if you send me an mp3 and your BPM. Make you life a little easier...

There is also a guy who used to post here, but has since disappeared who would be perfect. He's a really strong singer and fluent Logic user. His user name is/was Bezo. If you can find him he may be worth talking to.
