Here's my very first recording. I used an original script for this and I actually played two different characters in it, so it wasn't easy. It's Vegeta from DBZ in a Anger Management class. As you can probably tell from that, it's a comedy.

VAC! TripleArrow here in need of advice! My mic is really good an all, but sometimes it won't work, and if I move it around in any way it makes a horrible crackling sound. I bought a headset mic today, but I will return it because it sounds HORRIBLE and is also extremely quiet. So what I need from yous guys is advice on what is a good mic to get? One that has no background noise and is just all around good for VAing. I'm hoping not to spend more than $25. Can anyone help me, puh-LEEEZE?

Sorry bout that. I didn't have time to fix the URL's as I had to rush out to work, but allow me to repost them. Also, there was a typo when I was talking about the Tokiya Monologue. I had said it "isn't" when I ment to say it "is". Just so we're clear on that.

Oh, and by the way, this is to people requesting voices. For the best results from not just me, but other people as well, give us some more info about your characters.

What is their personality like? What are some of the things they say? What do they look like? (this one isn't as needed as the first two).

I noticed one person requesting a sample of some ninja talking about killing Mikoto. I may have sent in something about it, but I have no idea what this character's personality is like and the phrase could be said millions of different ways using different tones.

It's not easy giving voices to a character you know absolutely nothing about, especially because you already have an idea of what the character sounds like in your head. You'd have a much better result in getting what you want if you give more info.
