Need voices for Flash Project (Release still TBD):

Can anyone here do a Foamy, the girl foamy (forgot her name), or Salade Fingers voice?

If you don't know who those people are try looking up Flash made by iwillpress or david firth.

i listened to your demos! ^^
Wow, i like the pitch of your voice. It's calming. i'm very partial to mid-to-low range female voices. ^_~
My critique would be, that it kinda sounds like a plain narration... maybe you can implement a bit more emotion?

>morethanheroes
Thanks! ^^
You sure you don't need to audition anymore people? ^^;;;; Let me know if you change your mind.

Feel free to delete this if there's already a VA club..but I didn't see one in the search.

ps I need your address to send the DVD, not sure if you got my email...

OK, so whoever wants a DVD of the fandub should email me with the address...I'm actually watching that TV show recording of Tom Fulp right now lol

SirGary - If you mean Germaine, then I can totally do it. Germaine's voice is pretty close to my normal one, so it wouldn't take a whole lot of alteration.

I love you. You obviously don't have better things to do than bother people for attention. Congrats :D

Kagome: Don't tell Kirby that I "love him with mouth" though... I have a feeling an autograph is out of the question after hearing a fan say that :P
Oh and I responded to your e-mail... with my address this time >_<;

VAC: Ok... some advice for anyone looking to make a demo. It's ok to warm up your voice (recomended actually), but don't over do it... I started listening to music when I was taking a break and it was a really good cd so I turned it up. Errr, short story is I was singing/shouting and hurt my throat. So yeah... don't sing/shout before you make a demo :(
Oh and stay in school, don't do drugs, etc.

Yes, germaine. Can you send me a sample? Just read a sentence or two from this: http://www.newground..m/portal/view/175704

So, I can compare the voices. Thanks.

Oh my gosh! I just realized that I made a big mistake! :X I went back and reread the posts, and realized that I misinterpreted Morethanheroes' post to Aimi-san! He had already given her the part! And then I went and submitted my audition to him anyway! Geez o' pete! I feel like such an idiot!

A thousand apologies to both of you! I didn't mean to do that, really! :( Aimi-san, please accept my apologies... ;_; And here you even went and complimented me and critiqued my audition... I feel lower than scum right now. m-_-m Gomen...

And to Morethanheroes: I'm sorry to you too. If it feels like I put you in an awkward position, I again apologize. I wouldn't accept the role now, even if you DID do the unthinkable and change your mind. Aimi deserves it a million times more than I do. It'd be a crime to give it to anyone else but her!

Again, I'm so, so sorry! I'll try very hard to be more careful from now on! The last thing I want to do is make enemies, or step on any toes. ;_;

Yeah there was some fighting like 2 or 3 pages ago (I forget), but it's over now... so I think we're safe. If there's more fighting though, I can definitely see this thread being suspended maybe... but permanently? That's a little extreme since that was the first time anything like that happened here. There are way more threads out there that are breaking rules than here.
Just saying that we're ok and I highly doubt that the VAC will get locked.

I never said I'd lock the topic- This thread serves its purpose as a place where people can come to ask for assistance in voices for their movies and voice actors who want to use their talent. I won't lock this club simply because some childish users want to react to other childish posts. This thread wont be locked because people want to spam in it- The users who do this will be banned and have their posts removed. Secondly, don't post on my behalf- I don't need you to.

Whoa, chill, girl! ^^
Please, don't beat yourself up. You don't need to apologize. i'm very easy-going. *lol*
Although, i do tend to get antsy sometimes... 9.9;;; But that's beside the point. ^^;

i hope you land a role very soon. ^^
It takes persistence. That's how we all got to where we are, whether it be getting the first few roles (like me) or landing 100+ roles like Isca.

Ganbatte! ^^

Oh, and as for asking for critiques... i didn't think you were begging for it. i think these people (including myself /x.X;; ) do need a nudge sometimes to get a responce from. ^^;; There are also active critics like TESM, Ohmadon, Kagome-chan, etc, too. i don't think it'll hurt to ask them to help. ^^

Hm, I feel compelled to at least say something vague about this last couple of days, whether anyone appreciates it or not.

The club is by design, one of the few on Newgrounds with any real point to it. Its also the one with the least amount of spam and pointless posts. So the club still serves its purpose, thus its not gonna get locked just cause of a bit of a flare up. And on that topic, it seems like everyone wants to jump ship at the first sign of trouble. All you all really need to do is communicate better all around. From the VAs to the authors to whomever. To all those who know me, well, I suppose no one here really does, but I am known as being quite the communication whore, so I preach this a lot. 98% of all problems could be easily solved with better communication. Yes, some people are busy, but there should be more communication in the future to prevent these misunderstandings. I've been told not to get involved, so I'm not gonna try to shoehorn myself in, but at the very least everyone should talk about what problems they might have to each other, not gossiping to others and hiding it from one another and acting like theres no problem. Thats passive agressiveness, and its one of the worst things you can do. I really don't know the full story of the unpleasantness, but the whole thing seems kinda silly to me. This isn't the worst thing that could ever happen. Just communicate with each other, and maybe relax a little, and hopefully we can all kiss and make up! And I'll be there, watching, with my camera in hand...

Oh, and in totally unrelated news, I just got asked if I charge for my voice acting services... well, if the people who did the American dubbing for Mega Man X 4 got paid, maybe it wouldn't seem that weird if I did too. But nah, I'm still working for free kids.

Heh... paid roles would be awesome, no doubt. But I would NEVER ask to get paid for VAing, or even ask for anything in return. Well, I expect credit for my work, but that sort of goes without saying.
However, if some flash artist figures he/she can afford to pay people to do something that they'd gladly do for free then go ahead. I could use the spare pocket change. Buy some candy or something. Maybe even eat that candy... who knows?!

And for no reason at all, I've been imitating your voice Omahdon because I like your voice that much. It's pretty fun and I'm getting good at it. So you better watch out... or I could... uhhh... Phone you in the middle of the night and pretend to be your conscience! Make you do things... I suppose O_o;
