I've always been interested in voice acting, but I haven't really done any ever, except a really short segment in one of my brother's flash movies. Here's my info though:

Anyway, just so everyone knows... this is -NightCrawler-. Something extraordinary happened today, the movie that Phoenix and I worked so hard on, as well as the various voice actors that participated, landed on the front page. We are so very happy. It won an award, has a score slightly above 4, is on the front page. It has a good amount of positive reviews as well, what more could we have asked for?

I just wanted to come back to thank everyone for making this possible. We are so happy, and I am sure you guys will be do. Dont forget to vote 5!

Sorry to double post. But to the voice actors who participated in this movie... I am very proud of you, and so are apparently many others. We have received countless reviews saying that the Voices were fantastic. Even TomFulp (or wade possibly) said that the voice-overs were great (thats what his comment on the front page says).

So, we owe a huge part of our success to you. Thank you for your time.

Welcome to to the Newgrounds Voice Acting Club!

This is a place where animators can find a wide range of voice talent for their projects, and aspiring voice actors can converse, post their mp3s, and audition for Flash movies. Voice Actors: Please note that an uploaded voice demo is required in order to join. (Excel even says so.) If you're having trouble figuring out where to upload or where to find a recording program, you can find tutorials at the NGVAC Roster, compiled by Omahdon.

Please post the following information in order to join.

Name: (can be your real name or your screen name; however you prefer to be credited.)
Gender:
Age Range: (Not how old you actually are, but what ages you can believably play.)
Specialties: (what kind of voices you do best)
Example(s) of your voice: (Please note that you MUST have some kind of mp3 of your voice available on the Internet in order to join the VAC. It doesn't have to be some professionally mixed demo with sound effects and music and all, but animators need to know what you sound like.)

Not until you have a downloadable sample posted. It is NOT ok to say "just email me for sample".

Good point. I was nearing the very end of my lunch break upon writing that post so yeah XD I'll definitely include it.

As far as the petition, I think I should write an email (..to who? Possibly Ramagi as she seems to be the main mod for the C&C section, if mods can even edit posts that old) and maybe VAC members could write little things to be included in the email such as "After 200 pages and lots of new members, the rules of a club will inevitably change. Having the info updated on the first post would save us a lot of trouble in posting the rules on every page and dealing with lots of people who post without samples and then wonder why they're not added."

So..yeah..If you have any further ideas for how to go about getting the first post edited, let me know.

Well you posted a profile + demo so I don't see why not. If you're waiting to be added to the roster it just depends when Omahdon-san can update it.
