I just find it puzzling ... when I was younger, I couldn't wait to get out of school so I can do whatever I want. You'd think the ones that were obsessed with coming here all the time WHILE they were in school, would certainly do the same thing when they're not so busy. Ah well, I guess I'm just an old timer ... *shits self*

Well, how about this then ... how has everyone's summer been going? Is it what you expected? Are any of you thinking of travelling to some con or something (if there is one this summer I don't even know)? Are you guys f'in dead?

Also, who's all coming to the chat this weekend? Or at least "thinks" they can make it? I am going to go, and I want all of you fellow VA's to go and laugh and dance and shout ... shout ... let it all out! These are the thi --- *coughs* sorry got carried away there.

Sorry I haven't been around as much; I just got a full time job and it sucks :( They didn't even ASK me if I wanted to work part time..lol

But I am gonna try to clean out my inbox tonight even if it means going to bed late.

OK, so the clip quality is like reaaallyy bad because I had to boost the volume on quite a few of these. But anyway! I was really bored and so I decided to compile a new character demo reel. The characters that appear in this little creation of mine are as follows:

The weirdest thing happened today...I was rejected from an animation team for being "too experienced" in voice acting. That's crazy, wouldn't it normally be the other way around?

you were not rejected, and yes, i am the leader of newbie animations. cruel_dagger doesn't represent the team. i am the leader and i make most of the decisions. you can stay in the team. i'll deal with cruel_dagger myself. if you have a problem with some users, just send me a personal message in the team's forum.

If Hobbes is Isca's monkey buddy... that must make me her lesbian monkey lover. Woot.

Anyway. Anax, I must say, you show great effort in making "Captain Prego" much better than it already is. It's improved very much, artwise. Hopefully I can say the same to the script. So, I just want to say outstanding job to you! Keep it up.

Mikoto_HiME: Good new demo. Only criticism I have is that it's a little quiet over all. Depending on which software you record with, you can use dynamics (compressors or limiters) to increase the overall volume of the file. If you have problmes, I can help out walk you thru it or just do it for you if you don't have those options.

Hobbes: I think a certain ranking authority figure from space might just have to make an appearance at the chat tomorrow night.

Elliair: Cool track. Kinda makes me wish I had some sorta secret project to work on sometime soon...

Oh yes, and I might be going to Anime Evolution in Vancouver this August. It's going to be anime-rific! Plus apparently Will (The_Zodiak) is going there too! Fun to be had, I'm sure :D

Kagome: That's weird... I have to work full time too but it was unwillingly. My dad just came up to me yesterday and said "You're coming logging with me tomorrow." I thought he was joking until he woke me up at 4 am with my gear ready. I'm probably going to quit, but then again, I DID make $200 in one day :D

TVs_Slayer: I read your Mind Numbing Travelogue Pt. 6 and I was quite taken by it. It's interesting to hear about places through another persons experience. In most cases, it shows the truth behind all the rubbish that the tourism people throw in your face. I travel a lot so this may also be why I was so interested.

Hmm, that's a good idea. I don't think we have an official logo. Maybe we should have a logo contest? Everyone come up with a logo (animated or not) and they will be judged by...whoever Kagome chooses I guess, her being the founder and all. Or she could just do it. I dunno, is this a good idea? Either way, I will work on one just for fun.

i thought we already DID have a logo, but we could have a cool flash-type logo to go ina ll our flashes or our sig, etc... i dunno.
