well ... I almost forgot something:
lots people asked me: what's "it's my time now!!" in the script? let me explain it:
it's hero slogan, and says about his turn in battle. If the voice actor wants to change it to sometinhig better, he's welcome! but remember: the new slogan will be in all movies. take care!
thanks!!

Anax, I'll see what I can do tomorrow.

Meanwhile, I made myself a new sig since I accidentally deleted my old one and didn't have a backup. I might add "PEACE FOREVER!" at the bottom though, maybe tomorrow.

Isca - Welcome to the Spaced Out crew. This is by far the best series I've been involved with and I can't wait to see how the next episode turns out.

And once again a megapost to soothe your daily dreads and ills.... And bring in other daily dreads and ills for you to consider! Life is grand. Anyway, last NGVAC chat was a fun time waster, and I look forward to more chats. Though possibly with less nerdage that went on after a while when everyone indulged in their INNER GEEK and went on a rampage of riddles/Star Trek/Star Wars. Not a pleasant sight to see. At all. And yet.... INTERESTING STUFF! ON! TALES! OF! ..... INTEREST! But it looks like I missed out on another chat the day after. Which people seemed to have more fun in. Pfoo. Am I secretly regarded as a pariah dog who don't get to be in the fun chats, or something?

Elliair: Heeeeeeey! Are you saying that the rest of us manly men on the man roster of the NGVAC aren't manly? We's resents that! Why, we's so manly we're chavaunistic pidogs who whistle at women and treat them like sex objects! Dat's hwo manly we's are, babe! And your statement on attending a NGVAC/VAA-related convention confuses and bewilders me. Your feminine mind is far too complex for a manly man like me to unravel! Hence I must continue to treat you like a highly fetishised object of maculine desire in order to maintain my false sense of superiority over the feminine gender. I'm a narcissist! And you should stop beating yourself up over the first post thing. The fact that you're actually doing it at all is pretty darned impressive in itself! O.o And I'm vaguely disturbed that there's an album of NGVAC songs. Am *I* on there? Am I? Huh huh huh? No? Pfoo. But I shall listen anyway! As soon as my 56K modem cooperates *grumbles*

RyanChampion: Welcome to the NGVAC, where the process for getting parts is as simple as simple can be! Simply take a large stick and beat off the rabid competition as everybody tries to scramble for the limited roles that come by the NGVAC! No, really, you'll have to fight tooth and nail for parts around here. So FIGHT like you've never fought before!

TVs_Slayer: Hey nice page of samplers you got there! I'm assuming that's up to replace all the old samplers you had before, so I'll just update your profile with that one all-encompassing link, okeydey?

Masquerade_X: Errrrr.... I'm pretty sure I was Doctor Manabe in that Pretty Face thing, I think.

Tweekit: Woo! Double casting! Hurrah! Thanks a lot, sending email your way to confirm parts and get me dirtah dirtah hands on the script.

Isca: I too have a deluge of lines I should be doing. But when I look at them and notice how huge a backlog it's become, I go "eh. Maybe later". I've been saying that for some scripts which have been in my in-box for upwards to three months now. @_@ I should really get around to doing them.... Eh. Maybe later. *rolls around lazily* Still, there are occasions when a script is like LIGHTNING and I go "Wow! I gotta do this right now!". The problem is working my way to finishing all the other scripts that are there too.... Sometimes you just gotta grit your teeth and get down to do them.

8-Bit_Red_Mage: Record.... to CD.... What? Most people would record to their HARD DRIVE first and then burn that sample unto CD instead. I'd hate to imagine the kind of power a computer would have to be able to record and burn that recording unto CD all AT THE SAME TIME. That's theoretically impossible, I think. O.o And no, the club isn't going anywhere yet. We may not have posts every 10 to 15 seconds but we're still very much alive and full of meaty goo.

grim_studios: Aw, I definitely missed the boat on Spaced Out. Still, I think the people who are already onboard are doing a great job and would probably get in lines faster than I ever could. I was scared away by the whole "one flash a week thing" that you had up. O.o

And now.... MORE INTERESTING STUFF!

Rylord (141)
PROS: A good variety of voices and nice acting range complemented by an equally nice lack of background noise.
CONS: Your samplers sound like you've applied a couple too many filters to them, so they sound like you're recording underwater or from inside a closet. They're also extremely short, which is irksome. I mean, it's not really a stated requirement, per se, but it'd be nice if the clips were compiled in a single 1-minute demo so we don't have to download several small clips to get the full range of your abilities. I also question why would anyone want someone to act like Microsoft Sam when they can easily just get the real deal?
VERDICT: Try getting in touch with HollywoodSound regarding cleaning up your samples, he is available at unitysound@PREVENTTHEHARVESTINGgmail.com. Remove the all-caps to get his actual address. And... Welcome aboard! Your profile will be added to the roster shortly.

KitsuneSqueak (142)
PROS: Well, third time's the charm right? All my comments about your ability to act well as several traditional anime-like voices carry on from my review before. Having everything in a single zip file makes things convenient as well.
CONS: What comments also carry on from before are those about the shortness of the samples (though not as bad this time round) and their poor audio quality (which remains more or less the same).
VERDICT: I'm just going to add your profile to the roster on the proviso you get some help with the quality of your samples. Seriously, you might have a smaller set of competitors on the female side, but it's damn strong and having samples of that quality just makes you look bad. Have a talk with HollywoodSound regarding cleaning up your samples, he is available at unitysound@PREVENTTHEHARVESTINGgmail.com. Remove the all-caps to get his actual address.

Anax (142)
PROS: Variety of voices to go with nice flash animation skills. Nice over-the-top, cartoony voices.
CONS: Your accent REALLY carries through. There's a certain awkwardness that you hide quite well, but it's still quite noticeably there. Beyond that awkwardness though, your voices are pretty darn good.
VERDICT: Welcome aboard! Your profile will be added to the roster shortly.

Why god, why do these people exist to TORMENT ME????:

Hydro-Man44987 (142)
PROS: Nothing
CONS: Everything. Not only that, you didn't provide an email address for me to mail this to. Now that just makes my misdirected range all the harder to contain!
VERDICT: If you want to join the club, check out the How to Join? section of the Newgrounds' Voice Acting Club Roster. It'll provide the details for how to join, as well as help on how to fill the requirements. PLEASE DO NOT POST A PROFILE WITHOUT A SAMPLER UPLOADED SOMEWHERE FOR DOWNLOAD. DO NOT SAY "I'LL MAKE ONE LATER" OR "I'll GET A MICROPHONE IN THREE MONTHS" OR "EMAIL ME FOR SAMPLES PLZ, K?". GET A SAMPLER, HAVE IT UPLOADED AND LINK IT BEFORE POSTING YOUR PROFILE. THIS IS NOT A NEGOTIABLE POINT. THIS MESSAGE IS IN ALL-CAPS AND BOLDED FOR A REASON. SORRY IF IT SEEMS REPETITIVE, I JUST WANTED TO MAKE SURE THIS POINT WAS CONVEYED PROPERLY. Finally, this is a VOICE ACTING club. It is not a I CAN DO ALL THESE VOICES THAT I DON'T HAVE TO PROVE I CAN DO BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE A MIC club. Don't try and join if you don't have a working microphone. That's just plain stupid.

Ahhh it's good to be back in the VAC forum, I missed youz guyz! I've been so busy lately with flash (I'm working on 3 at once now) that I haven't slept in 2 days... which makes 4 sleepless nights in a single week O_o;

Anyways, I thought I'd drop by and ask for everyone's opinion on a Star Wars flash I'm currently working on. I want to know whether I should make it a silent flash with no actual speaking parts OR should I make more work for myself and everybody here and cram it full of voices!?
I realize it might seem silly posting that kind of a question in a club of VA's, but I want to know if I would have enough people backing me up with voices to go ahead and fill it with them. I have 7 characters so far, one being a female, so I need to know if people are interested in VAing in it. It mostly consists of original characters, but I'm going to have Yoda and Darth Vader in it if anyone is into doing their voices =P

And now I shall cry knowing I missed not one, but TWO VAC chats... Oh well, next time I shall just put down the pencil and join in! =D

I say nay for a silent movie. Voice acting usually makes the flash movies here on NG better (as long as they're good) and we can definitely help you out just by doing that!

I <3 Star Wars and it sounds very interesting. I'd love to audition!

Don't worry, we'll be having another this Saturday, and maybe a mini-chat on Sunday if there's enough bored people on with nothing to do. :)

Omahdon- It's more of a monthly series. I can't possibly do 'em every week, especially considering how long each one's gonna be. In fact, if this next episode had commercials, it would be a normal half-hour show on television. :|

Hey it's flash-hounds here again, requesting the voice acting talents of the VAC for another 'for retards' episode, this time it's metal gear solid
I'll be needing voices for the following characters :
Snake
Raiden
Vamp
Guard 1
Guard 2
There will probably be some women characters needed, we just need to think of the sketches for em
I must say though that snake and raiden have a hell of alot of lines to do
I've written the majoirty part of the script so far, but it needs a few finishing touches
I just wanna know who would be interested. Just reply or email me and I'll give ya the details

grim_studios: It's wicked getting to be a part of this series. What's even cooler is we share the same humour, so of course I am 100% behind the series. :)

Isca: I rented that Xbox game "Episode III: Revenge of the Sith" and I have to be honest ... I thought it was gonna suck, but my friend wanted to rent it. We played multiplayer and stuff and holy god ... it was super fun! Non-stop laughs. And from the clips I seen, it looks like it's gonna be a really cool movie.

Alright, I guess it's going to be a voiced flash! Of course this means I have to wright out a script, but that won't take long. I'll list the characters here and see who wants the roles, just KEEP IN MIND that the script still isn't ready yet. Oh yeah, they don't even have names yet either >_<;

1. Hero: 16-20 y/o voice. He should sound happy to the point of being naive.
2. Male Classmate: 16-20 y/o voice. I was thinking of having him sound British. They sound so much more sophisticated =P
3. Male Sith (evil Jedi): Any aged voice under 30. He has to sound evil so... be creative, and make something up.
4. Female Classmate: 16-20 y/o voice. Any kind of voice will work.
5. The Emperor: Same as in the movies.
6. Darth Vader: Same as in the movies.
7. Yoda: Same as in the movies.

I'll probably have more voices such as one liners from storm troopers and such. If anyone wants to be any of the listed characters just post here with your request. Thanx!

Besides that devestating news, how is everyone? I hope everyone is getting plenty of roles and stuff. Once I get a tablet I'm gonna make a sweet flash showcasing all of you talented mofos. I started writing some stuff today :D It will be sweet, trust me. Like borderline candy sweet.
