Wow, I've been waiting forever for someone to make a "Flash Noir"! @_@
(Cheesiest play on words ever.)

Pikpik, you've left no way for me to contact you in your profile, so I'm posting the sample I just recorded for you here.

Check 0:50 to 1:00 of the demo in my sig for a similar voice. =)

I'd love to help out with your Noir project, however, I'm not a male. :(

Though, if you have some female roles available, then I could be of some assistance. :)

hey, it's been a long time since I entered this thread. Anyways, I need a female voice actor for the second episode of Pre-Genius. I need an eager american female mother voice, if anyone like KagomeHigurashi can help me, please contact me at puzz@lostsolution.net.

Thanks a bunch.

I was in a few original flashes, some stuff by Lifepoint1 like Xin and Kazahana, and then a series this guy which involved some little girl screaming in a school bus. And of course, Kiel'ndia in Drowtales although she didn't have many lines. It was always fun to do those because they didn't have any existing voice I had to sound like >.> And if my friend and I can actually get together this weekend, maybe we can start animating TAS (the actual flash OTHER than the stick joke, rofl) and ...if I can learn to make that flash series I can make the girls sound however I want them to. You and Elliair will be in it too providing it actually gets made. If you want to, that is.

Nice signature. ^_^

MC-kun, the competition is increasing!

Yes, but good voice acting would make it an even *better* score. For instance, I thought the Xin series was pretty good [they actually held auditions on their site, not just casted their friends] and so that's an example of a great animation + story with great voices to go along with it.

(Sorry for the double post) I suppose it is also frustrating as a voice actor/actress when you see people desperately begging their friends to do voices for them with bad quality...(ok so not everyone wants to spend $15 for a pop filter but they could at least TRY to not emphasize consonants or breathe heavily between lines) You know, to see people being begged to do voice acting and here we are the ones begging to DO voice acting. If that makes any sense, it's midnight here T_T ::nemui::

Awww poor Kagome =(
If it makes you feel any better, I'm also working on a secret side flash... well it's not a secret anymore now >.<; ...Anyways, it's a serious flash about *edited to maintain secret* and I'll need a girl VA! Only problem is, I'm still drawing the story board (Ooo that sounds so professional) and ironically, the girl resembles Kagome... SO if you want, you can have the part! Again, I won't finish it for a while considering I'm ALSO working on Side Quest (my series) and that comes first.
The lines I have right now aren't final so I won't bother with samples or anything, but so far she doesn't have that many lines. I'd tell you why but I like having some secrets... makes me feel so mysterious =D
Tell me if you're interested and maybe, just MAYBE I'll give you some strawberry pocky!... we only get strawberry where I live >.<;

Yup, that's what I'm lookin for. Sounds really good, please do e-mail this to me again so I may add it to my collection =D
I think I might have a very picky e-mail account that denies EVERYTHING... not too handy when I'm waiting for voices >.<;
From now on, if anyone sends me anything and I don't reply that means I didn't get it! You'll know if I got your e-mail for the "secret" line when I post an updated version of submitted voices.
Thank you Sakura-shino for telling me. I hope to get an e-mail from you soon!

I would like to give a BIG thanks Elliair for her awesome work she has been doing for me. Elliair has tried something different and pulled it off quite nicely with sex appeal. Our very own sweet Elliair has given her voice to the power of music! As soon as the song is fully complete I will be sure to let you all hear the final product.

I apologize for my absence (I am audigy btw), but I have been incredibly busy with the Clock Crew site development as well as Clock Crew Radio. The best way to get in touch with me if you all need something; is to contact Elliair or Zodiak. Any direct requests from people will be ignored unless I hear it from either Elliair or Zodiak.

Cheers!

Megapost <3s j00. Ew, I'm channeling the spirit of Piconjo or something. Anyway, congrats to everyone involved in Halo for Retards! I think we all did a nice job in that one. Good job Hobbes_The_Prince on Master Chief and Frogs for doing all the soldiers. Nice work there!

Shalamaseskia: Ooooh! If you're planning on remaking the NGVAC song to the MGS2 theme I think doing multiple voices would be A-OK! That's too many acronyms in a single sentence, I think. Anyway, adding multiple voices to counterpoint each other would be cool to do, though I think difficult to time properly. So good luck with that!

TVs_Slayer: You trying to muscle in on mah megapost territory mang? I cut you! I CUT YOU, MANG! *cue Star Trek gladiator music here* And once again, your Radio Random sample proves that once again: I don't need a radio to enjoy radio. HUZZAH! Screw knob twiddling, I got both Radio Randoms, baby!

Frogs: Guten lucken with the touren. And yes, bring back bras. Even if you have to buy them and hire women to toss it at you. THE BRAS WILL BE YOUR RITE OF MUSICAL PASSAGE! And I really don't know who controls the editing of the posts or what not, but being able to edit the first post to include the "YOU DAMN WELL BETTER INCLUDE A SAMPLER THAT'S UP ON THE INTERWEB SOMEWHERE OR I'LL STRANGLE J00!" line would be great, yes. Saves a lot of trouble lecturing the stupid people. And nice in-depth review on Sakura-shino's samples. That's what I like to see!

MC_Huggies: All righty, I guess meneldil will go on the list. Hurrah and thanks for doing the backup review! And no, I wouldn't hurt you. Why, in order to hurt you, I'd have to know where you lived, your daily routines and activities, your closest family and friends, and the various different ways a man could suffer a violent and horrible death which would seem to be nothing but coincidentally "accidental". And I do not know these things. At all. @_@ *insert Psycho theme here* And I too look forward to seeing that flash completed. So therefore, I reccomend you do not look in the hallway closet until after you have finished that flash. You know. Just saying. And you're muskelling on mah megapost too? Why I oughta!

KagomeHigurashi: Somehow, I don't think you have to worry too much about being kicked off the roster. I judge mainly on cleanliness on the sample, if the sample is in mp3, if the person actually sounds like they're trying to act.... Or if there's a sampler at ALL. Really basic stuff. There's a bit of quality control in there, but nothing major. Besides, I'd have to go through all the samplers currently on the roster to start weeding people out and I don't QUITE have the will to do that sort of thing. And honestly, I agree with Isca here: You've proven you've gotten Kagome from Inu Yasha down pat. Time to mine new territory, girl!

Isca: And you don't have to worry about being kicked off the roster, either! And besides, we're desperately short of female members. If I wanted to start culling anywhere, I'd start with the male side of the roster. Like some of kind of castration. Yipe! And your new siggy is very arousing. The fact that it was the lovechild of you and Elliair makes it even more arousing. I should like to see the "creation process". eh? eh?

Elliair: Ahhhh! Thank you for putting those clips of the NGVAC chat up! I seem to have missed out on a lot in the first one and a half hours (I think?) I wasn't there. Rats. O.o Anyway, great work on recording them and hosting that chat in the first place. And continuing to post that first page post every time. You are indeed, very bomb-like. :-P And you reviewed Angal_the_Chupacabra's sample as well! Hurrah!

TripleArrow: Nice of you to do linkage to the NGVAC in the loading screen. It's fairly unintrusive and yet clearly stated. Good job!

pikpikcarrotmon: Noir fan here! Well, sort of. I'm doing a bit film history and it covers film noir to a degree. What films I have seen that are of that particular genre, I liked most heartily. I haven't seen many of the streotypical "private eye searching for the truth" ones, though.

Secrets and lies! All secrets and lies! Sorry, couldn't resist. I too am working on a secret flash, I am also doing storyboards and I am also learning to draw along the way...pitiful. I am writing music for it, never written/studied music before, and it will be my first submission. Its a very eery, serious, kinda creepy cartoon about...it's a secret. What it is really about will still be a mystery for the first episode, I dare anyone to figure it out when I release it.

Wow, that was a pointless post. I don't even think I need voice actors for it. I guess I just wanted to be mysterious too, lol. look for it within a month or so.

You know, I don't know why I bother to type up these critiques on new people posting profiles and their sampler. I mean, some of them are serious, but most of them post their profile once and then never surface on the thread ever again. It's rather noisome, all that wasted effort.

That said, I'm just going to go ahead and do this anyway. Because I have a pedantic sort of personality.

General-Tibby: If you want to join the club, check out the How to Join? section of the Newgrounds' Voice Acting Club Roster. It'll provide the details for how to join, as well as help on how to fill the requirements. PLEASE DO NOT POST A PROFILE WITHOUT A SAMPLER UPLOADED SOMEWHERE FOR DOWNLOAD. DO NOT SAY "I'LL MAKE ONE LATER" OR "I'll GET A MICROPHONE IN THREE MONTHS" OR "EMAIL ME FOR SAMPLES PLZ, K?". GET A SAMPLER, HAVE IT UPLOADED AND LINK IT BEFORE POSTING YOUR PROFILE. THIS IS NOT A NEGOTIABLE POINT. THIS MESSAGE IS IN ALL-CAPS AND BOLDED FOR A REASON. SORRY IF IT SEEMS REPETITIVE, I JUST WANTED TO MAKE SURE THIS POINT WAS CONVEYED PROPERLY. Finally, this is a VOICE ACTING club. It is not a I CAN DO ALL THESE VOICES THAT I DON'T HAVE TO PROVE I CAN DO BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE A MIC club. Don't try and join if you don't have a working microphone. That's just plain stupid.

Angal_the_Chupacabra: Your first sampler (which Elliair reviewed, thanks for pitching in Elliair!) went belly up, so I'm going to do this review based upon your next two samplers. For angal_demo2.mp3: Nice variety of voices, though you've got a serious mic puff problem for the laughter/screaming sequence. Also, some voices felt a little flat, which I assume came from trying to hard to imitate a certain voice without necessarily harnessing the same energy or pizazz. For DDquoteattempts.mp3: I got a real sense of "whisper shouting", like you were afraid to get distortion from high volume so you weren't really SHOUTING shouting. This is really highlighted when TVs_Slayer comes in and gives it his all, which completely distorts the sound, but you can tell he's really going nuts at the line. Overall, nice samples! I'll be sure to add your profile later.

Sakura-shino: Ooooooooookay: first of all you have a really bad sound quality issue. I mean, HUMUNGOUSLY bad. You've got distortion everywhere when you speak up even a LITTLE bit, you sound like you recorded your lines while lying in a metal box, and you've got a lot of ambient background noise. Try submitting your profile again when you've cleaned up your samples or recorded new ones. If you're recording new ones, try to go for something with a bit more emotional content. I think doing narrational reading is one of the most difficult things you can do in terms of VAing (since the work has to come completely from you), but you need to mix it with something that sounds it could be heard in a dialogue sequence to balance things out.

fosterjrt: If you want to join the club, check out the How to Join? section of the Newgrounds' Voice Acting Club Roster. It'll provide the details for how to join, as well as help on how to fill the requirements. PLEASE DO NOT POST A PROFILE WITHOUT A SAMPLER UPLOADED SOMEWHERE FOR DOWNLOAD. Which is fine, when I get the website up I'll be sure to have everything back in order and looking a little nicer. I've been working on a few things, trust me when you spend time working at DairyQueen you develope a new sense of tone in your anoyed to hell attituide. In conclusion VIsa, VI good work, hope I land something that good. blah blah blah and all that other good stuff.

lol! Ahhh it's nice to wake up in the... afternoon... and find so many people have sent their "secret" line. Partly because it sounds like a bunch of strange people are trying to scare me with a secret =D
Thanx everyone, for helping me out!

Update! People who I have recieved the "secret" line from are as follows:
1. Kagome
2. Omahdon
3. Aimi
4. Elliair
5. t0ast
6. Shock_Dingo
7. meneldil
8. Isca
9. Sakura-shino

As an added bonus, this is sort of a way to filter out the people who remain active in the VAC. Of course that's not entirely true but it does hold some meaning. Now I just hope I'm not going to be haunted by all your voices saying secret... it's actually kind of scary to hear "secret" said in really strange voices 13 times O_o;
Oh yeah, and tomorrow is JUDGEMENT DAY!! I will choose a winner tomorrow and post it here!

MC-kun I am VERY interested ^_^

BitClock you just suddenly started ignoring me and now you want nothing to do with me unless I go through the others first? That's lame. Did I do something to offend you?

yay frontpage.

Omahdon - any ideas on how to improve the quality issue? For some reason my computer generates static even when a mic is not plugged in, so I have a feeling it has to do more with the computer/sound card....noise reduction in audacity is very, very metallic and awful.

I'm glad you guys thought my Kagome sounded close. Whenever I've talked to people outside of the VAC they said it sounded nothing like her. It's the specific details that are REALLY hard to do.

TOO MANY SECRETS! AHH!

Isca just sent in her..secrets? I might have to join Elliair in this ...j/k.

I'd tell you what I'm up to with BitClock, but I think it's best if it's left as a secret, adding to the secksayness of it all because mysteriousness = secksay... so it must be left untold for the time being.

Oh, and Isca. I must say...I find your secrets rather mysterious.. *wink, wink*

I am quite the minx, aren't I?

Oh, and speaking of VAC Chats, Zodiak and I said in earlier posts that there was a possibility that there might be a VAC Chat tomorrow (Friday). I doubt that there will be, though, because we haven't really planned much for it, nor have we even announced it here.

We WILL have more VAC Chats, just not sure when. I'd like to have one next week, since this week we most likely won't be having one. What does everyone else think? Should it be next Friday (or Saturday)? What time (whatever timezone)?

Also: If there are a couple of you who would like to chat tomorrow or the day after tomorrow (Saturday) maybe we can go on Skype or Yahoo. Just let me know if you want to, and we'll do a mini-VAC chat thing.
