Short Mega-post today. Heck, half the stuff I say here is superfluous, anyway. In the words of a certain character from a certain series of movies starring a certain pair of characters who aren't main characters until the last movie of that series: "I'm not even meant to BE here, today!"

DarkKnightDamsel: Yes! I have discoverererered your true identity! Although considering the fact that a whole lot of other VAA people have joined in the interum, perhaps that doesn't matter as much no more. @_@;;;;

Bezo: Yes, having plenty of enthusiasm makes up for any if not most shortcomings of an imitation! Works for me, anyway. Though sometimes directors aren't quite so forgiving. I remember being asked one time to do a reproduction of Sam Fisher from Splinter Cell (played by Michael Ironside). After half a dozen different tries the final verdict was, "No, you don't get the part" even though the character I was supposed to play didn't HAVE to sound like Michael Ironside, just some tough, military type. In the end the flash was released and what do I hear? Some 13 year old who pitched his voice WAY down to make it artificially manly to the point of laughable stupdity. Argh. Of course, this segues nicely into what I think is my favourite vocal effect: the reverse reverb. Take a sample, reverse it, add reverb, then reverse it again. Now you sound like a Protoss from Starcraft! Innit neat? Okay, that was actually pretty pathetic compared to your rather extremely accurate Soundwave, but it's all I's got. @_@

Shalamaseskia: When (if?) TVs_Slayer releases his NGVAC flash, you'll hear me saying my screen name. I'd be interested in how people would pronounce it without the proper context though. I think that would be amusing. I am easily amused.

MC_Huggies: Well, considering the fact that nobody else has given in a mini-review of your sampler, I guess it's up to me if you get added or not. I'll add your profile to the roster when I next update, then! Keep in mind though, it's probably in your best interest to get a better quality sampler up later. Fer real. Anyway, I look forward to the whole "secret casting" thingie! Should be interesting. O.o

Frogs: I have no idea what kind of effect you're talking about, but anything that makes me think inanimate objects are talking HAS to be cool. O.o

Elliair: I'll try to be at that huge chat, if I can. And I gots me some Yahoo IM! Thanks for organising this, too, you're really proactive about the whole club thing. O.o

TVs_Slayer: I think everybody's just busy doing other stuff. I know I should be. Which is why this megapost is gonna be short today. Good luck with your projects!

topleka, Aimi and chibi_lila: Welcome! Your profile has been noted, your samplers listened to, and you'll be added to the roster later. Except for you, chibi_lila, you were meant to be on the roster before, only your actual profile got deleted. oopsies. So you'll be readded, instead! Huzzah!

Now, back to the essay.

Hello, a friend just told me about this club. I am in need of good voice actors like yourself for a drawn flash I'm making.

It's about 2 crocodiles, who live in a swamp village.
Screenshot 1: http://img220.echo.cx/img220/9516/dandlprev3ta.jpg
Screenshot 2: http://img150.echo.cx/img150/6349/dandlprev24al.jpg

I am looking for a voice actor who could make a kickass yet badass voice for the character shown in screenshot 1 and I am looking for a voice actor who could make up a cool original voice for screenshot 2's character.

If you want to audition, please contact me via msn: blordow@gmail.com or aim: blordow or even post your auditions here.

Please contact me, I am in desperate need of voice actors :P

Thanks!

No worries. Once I get this expensive and oh so special mic hooked up, I'll definitely get right on that.

Now it's time for me to get down to business. Earlier, when I said I would have roles for people on the forums... well, I guess I made myself a liar. I somehow managed to fill in all the characters with my so called "secret casting"... I feel bad for possibly getting some peoples hopes up, no matter how unlikely that sounds. But all is not lost, for this is the first episode in a SERIES, so there are a lot more opportunities to come =P

And before I get back to animating, I'd like to congratulate Elliair on heading the chat thing. It's enthusiasm like this that makes a club work. I'd take part in it but I really doubt I would be able to. I've been insanely busy with writing and animating my flash, while also maintaining a somewhat normal life... Oh well, thems the breaks I guess.

Darn... I knew it... wait, I don't even have any female characters in this episode o.O;
Hmm, although episode 2 isn't completely written, it would seem that I won't be needing the lovely voices of the equally lovely ladies of the VAC until episode 3... But rewrites seem to creep up on me constantly, so who knows!
And out of curiousity; you're singing fukai mori? With the japanese lyrics?! If so, then that's impressive! I'm still learning japanese so little things like that interest me a great deal... Here's hoping you feel better soon! *sings fukai mori and hopes that a recording of MY singing never comes into existence* >.<;

Hey everyone. Just to remind everyone, the VAC Open Mic Chat is on April 23rd!

And now, to respond to stuff that's been said:

Omahdon: Yes, I am proactive about the club. The VAC is a wonderful club with some of the best people on NG and with talented VAs at that. Would you rather have me not make this club a better place with a friendly setting by doing such things as hosting the VAC Open Mic Chat? Erm. Well, it doesn't matter anyway. Here, have some yuri...featuring Isca and myself!!111! @_@;

The_Zodiak: Your demo turned out amazingly well! I just can't believe you finished way before I did when I had started a day earlier. O.o; Meh. Guess I just record slow?

MC_Huggies: Thanks! *Hugs* Aww...can't make it the the chat? :( Well, hopefully if this one goes well and people are interested, we'll be doing another one.

Jerma: Welcome to the VAC. You've a great demo! Only problem is you've got static/background ambience noise behind your clips. I recommend you use some Audio Editting program (I'm sure you have one) and use some Noise Removal Filter on your clips. Other than that, it's great. Now, let's see what Omahdon says...

And for everyone's eargasming pleasure: I've a NEW DEMO! w00t, w00t, and all that good stuff. It's a minute longer than my old one, and a great improvement. Special thanks to The_Zodiak for helping me with it! :)

Oh, and sorry Omahdon, you got extra work! I would like that you put this new demo in my profile as 'Demo 1' and put my old demo as 'Demo 2' ( <-- using this link as Demo 2's link). Thanks much. Good luck with your essay and all.

I'm starting another movie, cause I have nothing better to do once again.

This ones "Harold And Kumar : Go To White Castle". If anyone's seen it, look forward to this one. If you havnt, prepare to die laughing.

Anyways, I just started yesterday, but I need to voice actors ready to go whenever I need them.

NOTE : None of these requirments are attended to be racist. Its just how the movie is lol.
NOTE : Voice actors should have MSN messenger for instant communication.

Voice needed:
Harold - (MALE) Chinese guy, good english, no chinese accent whatsoever
Kumar - (MALE) Indian guy, good english, no heavy indian accent
TAKEN Maria - (FEMALE) TAKEN
Goldstein - (MALE) White guy, punkish voice, not too punkish, low voice.
Rozenberg - (MALE) White guy, fat, more caring voice, not too low voice, not too high.
Xtreme Sports Punks x5 - (MALE) White guys, punk, not too low voice.

All voice actors will recieve full credit in the movie.
Thats all for now, reply here if you're interested.

Thanks.

I need a voice actor of my new movie. I want to add voices so I can make the movie better. People hate reading so the voice actors can read for them.

I need someone with a voice like for an intro to a movie or show. Like the ones you hear for previews for movies.
Someone try and record these:

The history between Clark Kent and Lex Luthor has always been an interesting one, but this one side of them many have never noticed, or dare to dream of. In this chapter it tells of Clark and Lex who are two curious guys who find themselves in love…

Chloe is a close and long-time friend of Clark and has been in love with Clark for a long time now. Finally decides to risk it all for one night of un-imaginary sex. Chloe has recently figured out Clark’s secret and now decides to use the Red Kryptonite necklace to seduce him.

During that same time during an experiment Lex Luthor had been exposed to the black meteor rock and now has created a separation between the curious Lex Luthor and the straight and cautious Lex. It is revealed that Lex has always been in love with Clark and has always lusted for him.

Chloe told Clark that she had a surprise for him and told him to shut his eyes. She then quickly put the necklace on Clark. Now Clark has been exposed to the red kryptonite. The red kryptonite releases Clark’s true feelings. Clark never liked Chloe he tells her. Chloe storms off in tears.

Lex appears and they both stare into each other’s eyes. Clark has never noticed Lex’s beautiful eyes. Clark and Lex won’t hold their true feelings in any longer.

Career? No, no no. We are all amateurs here, who like Voice Acting (and just so happen to be talented at it) and offer our voice acting services to the skilled Flash Animators here, to enhance their movies. Who better than real life, talented VAs should voice characters in your flash movie? (This is better explained here by Omahdon's voice over.) Sure, some of us would like to further our voice acting hobbies INTO a professional career, but again we are all amateurs here, who are willing to voice act for (almost) anyone, and give great results.

But why would we voice act if we are lazy? That makes no sense...but if you mean 'bored', then I guess there are those who just voice act due to boredom...

Anyway:

Hello and Welcome to the VAC if you are not already familiair with this place.

The following is important for all newcomers of the VAC who wish to join:

Erm...I really can't understand that sentence due to the poor English you used, but if you meant "You read for a cheap living, and that's being lazy" then by God, you do not know the meaning of 'lazy' nor how to string together a comprehensible sentence. :/

lazy
-Resistant to work or exertion; disposed to idleness.
-Slow-moving; sluggish
-Conducive to idleness or indolence
-Depicted as reclining or lying on its side.

Anyway. That's over with. It's another slow day for the VAC...

*Sigh* Since you're still here, let me clarify so that you can go away:

We are amateurs at voice acting here; this is not a professional career for us. More like a hobbie. We do not get paid; we offer our voice acting services free of charge. It's like we're doing community service; we're helping the community (NG and the Flash Animators) by volunteering to do some work (voice acting). So saying that we are lazy would be stupid to say because those who volunteer clearly are not lazy, wouldn't you agree?

Oh, and please refrain from calling me 'FUCKER' here. Did I use profanity against you? I think not. I am only trying to answer your question.

Sometimes we get paid though, if we're lucky. ^_^

I'm going to record stuff tonight. That makes me happy. I haven't heard much from Newgrounds lately, I'll have to start throwing my name out there again.

Hey guys! I'm a girl who voice acts! *waves madly* Hehehe.
