That's part of the problem. I used to take lessons and everything; drumming was my world. But then it started to slip. Then it would come back. And so on. I'm in a slump now, but I always fall back into it.

ADHD lol

I'm sort of in a band now, but not anything official. Just a bunch of friends jamming, you know?

I know EXACTLY what you mean, all musicians go through that one way or another.

Thanks man. ^_^

No problem, let me know how things work out for your band.

As you can tell if you check my profile, I'm something of a composer. I play piano, keyboards, organ, jew's harp, guitar (very badly), drums, kazoo and sing. I'm best at singing, which I've been doing for over 20 years.

My musical influences are: Nobuo Uematsu, John Williams, John Abram, John Rutter, Metallica, Alice Cooper, Freddy Mercury, Danny Elfman, Garbage, Prokofiev, Rachmaninoff, Bortnyansky, Stravinski and Red Skelton.

I just invested a lot of money in a cutting edge PowerMac which will serve as my virtual studio, so if you think my music sounds good now (and I hope you do), you ain't seen NOTHING yet.

I have one of these It's a high-hat derailer to double bass, aka a double bass high-hat clutch. Basically it means I don't have to pick up my foot to switch from high-hat to double bass. Shit, they don't even make'em anymore!

I also have a set of sweet roto toms, and I own a live recording rig to burn it all to CD with. Mackie 1604 VLZ PRO is AWESOME, plus I compress it with an Alesis 3630, and burn it to a Tascam CDRW 700(?)

I love pro audio gear.

I play keyboard ever since 1998. Not a very long time, but I've written a few songs that my friends like.

I've been playing saxaphone for 9 years and Guitar for 1, so I pretty much had alotta theory and the like down... It was mostly working on technique and building chops... It was a pretty smooth transition. Now I'm working on making my pentatonic and arabic scale solos sound better... Due to my history, I've mostly been writing solos based on blues scales and I need to expand...

In my view the pentatonic and blues scales are the coolest sounding scales and forms you can ever play. Blues has the nicest flowing kinda sound to it, it just awesome. : )

Yeah... and while I love the spanish scales, there being used so much... I mean, Avenged Sevenfold uses them (not that that's a bad thing). Not many rock bands utilize the 5 note arabic scales... But they lead to some pretty unique two way shit!

I think the Tea Party uses the Arabic scales quite a bit.

Ugh, I got a double bass pedal awhile ago, but I haven't pursued the glory of double bass due to reasons previously stated. My left foot is so weak compared to my right... I can still play everything the same, it's just that it quits a lot sooner. Need endurance training!

I love pro audio gear.

O_O

Any of those audio submissions you soloing?
Must go explore...

Spanish scales? You mean calypso? Lol. Nah I'm just kidding with you. Just for future reference "spanish sounding scales and music" is generally referred to as "Calypso".
