hum well mine r
i cant draw flash well all i can draw is a circle moving from side to side like the ng tutorial tells me to
but im still my favourite artist
Taisetsu na mono protect my balls!
ill keep it short and simple
1-Image Nation Animation
4-Sick Death Fiend
all for great animations, some humorous, some gorey, some both but all are great.
he's in the top 100 around 50 to 65 and did a movie that made the front page called "Auf Achse". He's also done other work this year and has won a few portal awards for his work. "Auf Achse" in my opinion is the best flash on NG with maybe a few exceptions.
He creates bobblehead like characters in his movies and did "Jedi Training" and also participated in "The Matrix Has You" as well as others, getting multiple awards.
He participated in "The Matrix Has You" as well as "The Matrix Still Has You; both of which I believe are in the top 100. He did the "One Ring to Rule Them All" series as well as "FF7: About Random Battles"; both are in the top 100 list.
He put out "Passion of the Zombies" for which he won a portal award or two and "Foamy's Rant IV" which also won an award or two. He also put out movies in his "Foamy" and "Germaine" series'.
He got nine awards this year and is the author of the "Star Wars Gansta Rap:SE" which is in the top 50.
Each of these artists made flashes with not only amazing animation, but also incredible stories, comedy, content, and music. Each artist has put out so many good submissions that I'm glad there is a favorite artist list so that I don't have to put each submission on my favorite animations list.
i only got one right now
i like inevitability.. he shows what really goes on during prayer (see spiritual warfare)

I say put a vote in for him if you haven't already, because IMO he SHOULD win. The. End. ;)

Trust me, i've tallied for HOURS on this, i guess i like addition too much, because ... its been fun to do ^.^
Also Granfallon only has 8 :(, and that is after i add a 6th vote from me (almost out of pity considering i hoped he'd get at least ten)
but seriously why is this shit still only 3 lines shit used to be 5 lines, HOW MUCH MORE FUCKIN BANDWIDTH WAS THAT TOM, HOW MUCH? Also, hot rosalina porn link ;D
5: Sherbalex: Who can forget Jeremey? HIs animation is so smooth, original and full of style that it's inspiring to watch everytime. Not to mention his fitting songs and sence of humor that so greatly saturate his movies. Fun dude to chat too.
4: Krinkels: Matt is great when it comes to just kickass movies. Movies that are violent and funny, and animated well. His (main, let's not forget Breadman) series, Madness, has improved much over time and still manages to keep thousands of fans interested and coming back for more. Not to mention, when he teamed up with Max A. and created Madness Interactive (which I had the pleasure of Modding), his fans screamed cries of happiness (is that an oxymoron?). Great guy, too.
3: Gel: He's original, humorous, and straightfoward. Not to mention, he has a great (fake) wife! When colaborating with Dustball (another great, but not for movies/animation) you can expect to see magic made. Don't forget about him! (Gel - ;) )
2: Dan Paladin (Synj): So you're not Jesus? Synj is a kind, nice, hilarous little jolly jogger who's unaturally short. With Glasses. What's not to like? Haha, just loving with you. His great fbf movies are a feast for the eyes, with special effects galore. Not to mention he's managed to make two (yes, two.) entries this year while completing a console game! The dynamic duo Dan/Tom have always worked well together to bring us great games such as the AHP, AH, Cantankourus TANK (w/ a little help from Gel.) and others (?). Not to mention he manages to run a forum with 600 members and flaming 14 year old punks. :P I applaud you, Synjy.
1: Adam Phillips: A veteran animator (10 years and counting) who still continues to amaze me and MANY others with his great, great, great, GREAT animations and invisioned Actionscripting ideas (along with Sham). He's prouduced and great series that's going places (Adam - ;) Hah). Adam dominates the Portal, and with another movie in the works, he shall continue. Godspeed. I had the pleasure of moderating his forum before I resigned, and that filled me with respect for Adam.
1) TOM FULP (No doubt-see Alien hominid)
2) ADAM PHILIPS

then your friend and you are missing all the good stuff.
Holy cow...I had thought about checking to see if someone had already mentioned the artists I like, but with this many pages? No way.
So...this isn't really in any particular order, it's just who came to mind:
1) Sakupen (Dad's Home and Walk-Smash-Walk, how can you go wrong?)
2) Knox (he just keeps going! AND GOING!)
3) AntiClockClock (best of the clocks?)
4) The Hurrells...you know, TENT & Klacid...(blank stares) the Sex Kitten Sim Date guys ("Ohhhh yeah those guys!") Not to mention the Love Hina & Galaxy Angel Sim Dates...
RobsH66 is a very astounding person and animator. When i saw his improvement from his Old series I was flabergasted! My jaws dropped with awe and my heart was clenched with inspiration and motivation.
I'm being honest, I saw his work, it was beautiful and very strong bold animation; Fallen Angel. His work has inspired me to take my animations to the next level, hence Auf Achse. I can't beleive it, I even tell that to him on AIM. "How did you improve so greatly out of no where!?"
He's a great person in character and actions. He's given me tips and motivation for flash, I'd like to thank him kindly. Hah, I was a bit surprised to see my name a few times. I feel honored and inspired to work more harder, I'm working on a new cartoon. It should be up around Christmas time. ( I gotta drink some more coffee). So thanks to all of you for making me feel honored.
OMFG, everyone totally forgot Livercorpse
2004 was his big year, he contributed so much to NG.
And since it was his first and last year here i must say he deserves it the most to be up there.
1. RobH66 : this guy's Falling Angel is, and I have absolutely no doubt about it, his the greates flash animation ever made, and far before the others, I've never seen such beautiful graphics neither!
2. Chluaid : his Brackenwood animations were just incredible, they're not that close behind Fallen Angel after all! It definitely deserves a place in the top.
3. James Farr : the Xombie serie just rocked too much to be ignored, this artist is in the top elite of newground's.
4. David Firth : this author really masterized all the elements of a good flash animation and even pushed it further.
5. Anthony (TENT) Hurrell : with his Love Hina and Galaxy Angel sim date games, he shown us his skills as a drawer and a programmer and gave us the coolest sim date games.
I mostly based my choice on the skills and the animation the author made. That's why there isn't illwillpress nor Know in the list, illwillpress made good animations, but animations that weren't really that impressive. In Know case, well, I never really liked his work but it's mostly because it's not real animation, it's something way easier but nicely done. I added Anthony Hurrell to my top 5 because Sim Date RPG are one of the main attraction of newgrounds, because a lot of the users are porn crazy ... it scares me sometimes. But this author did make sim games that included not any or almost not any porn. Instead, a lot of sexy outfits, a lot of attractive behaviors and some pretty interesting games, that's someone who knows how to make sim games.
I would'nt really have a top five, but I have a few good ones I can remember. I can't put them in order either.
Maelstormm, who made a collection of Megaman games.
Anthony and Robert Hurrel
And the person who made the Kingdom Hearts tribute that is now on the front page. Sorry I can remember your name, but that was sweet!
Notable artists... or random ones.
2. Strawberry clock
5. Pepsi Clock

You can base your list on any number of factors, just be sure it is based on the accomplishments of this past year. It can include artists who only submitted one thing, or artists who submitted lots of stuff.
I won't say what this is for just yet... I also won't list some of the artists I have in mind. I want to gauge the response from users. Post your top five list to this thread!
i know its a little late for a reply like this. but oh well.
what are you doing tom, some kind of NG 2004 awards thing? if so you should break it up into categories.
top 5 animator
top 5 programmer
top 5 underrated artists
top 5 overrated artists
top 5 new comer
Wow, I didn't know I would be listed so many times in a thread... thanks to everyone who voted for me. Anyway my list goes as follows in no specific order:
Jeremy Lokken - I've been a fan since Sloth TV and I just found out he lives in my city!
Romeo Jr/Creator of Sickanimation - By far the most random animator on NG.
David Firth - For his odd/strange movies on here.
Iamthemanthatis - For making a long going series of Cletus the Fetus! My favorite series that I have never got bored of!
and finally - ME... because I worked my ass off on flash this year more than I ever have - I also went through a macromedia class my final year of highschool and learned many new things and ways of animating through class, other people, and teaching myself. Even I amaze myself with how much flash I put out one after another.
Top 5 Artists of 2004?
1. SPLANKGY - Zomborg Apocalypse is some of the best Flash here at Newgrounds. It's original, well-drawn, and well animated.
2. illwillpress - Foamy and Germaine are awesome! I can't get enough of them! They keep me laughing for hours.
3. The Walrus - Make no mistake, Zipperfish.com is home to some very high-class animation. Excellent work. I personally spend a lot of time there.
4. James Farr - Xombie is quite inspired. The story of Dirge is very well written. The animation and graphics are quite good, and the characters are very full of emotion.
5. JeremyLokken - A must see for fans of Star Trek TNG! Very funny spoofs of the Enterprise crew.
