The reason college students are liberal is because college students are open to new ideas and change, isnt that kinda what u do in college? change... find new ideas... ya no?

Yeah, too bad in those cities where unemployment is the most high, those people werent counted in their little IQ test.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

High School: Not really sure, id say half liberal or democrat and half conservative or republican
College: Mostly liberal
Adults: Mostly (not by a lot) Republican
so if its because they're smarter, a small portion would be because a lot of these universities have a lot of liberal proffesors. But if they get smarter as they grow older then it seems as if Republicans or conservatives take the cake.

Lets see... If I were a college student I'd support Bush. I want high tuition rates, my privacy taken away, and when I get a job and enter the middle class workers life, I want to pay huge amounts of taxes so some rich snob can buy another Yaht. It makes sense to me.

If you want free college tuition, enlist in the military, it then becomes free.
my privacy taken away,
???
and when I get a job and enter the middle class workers life,
Thats your decision to be middle class. Who fills in the tax gap? The middle class, bush has realized this.
I want to pay huge amounts of taxes so some rich snob can buy another Yaht. It makes sense to me.
Taxes are not high, for my family taxes have been reduced. Yep, makes sense.

I guess it is because they dont get all their information from CNN or FOX. They spend more time learning, and in turn become more intelligent. Then you just need to read about the history of the US and BOOM, majority seem to be liberal.
Newgrounds is a website for 13 year olds who cannot understand the difference between "there", "their" and "they´re".

Lol your 17 and you already have the world figured out? Good for you. Excuse me a minute, I need to go throw-up.
Maus was correct. Nothing else needs to be said.
And I am not typical, (I live in SF) but all of my teachers are liberal. Cant base how high schools and college professors/teachers are all liberal/conservative off first hand experience. Because most of the time it matters where you live. First hand experience can be very misleading in my opinion.

Check out this post election Gallup Poll. You have to register.
Scroll about halfway down the page and you’ll see how people of various education levels voted. People with postgraduate degrees went for Kerry 47% to 53%. However, those with undergraduate degrees went for Bush 58% for 42%, and those with some college went for the president 56% to 44%. when we get to those with a high-school education or less, they went for Kerry 54% to 46%.
I suppose you're right, but also remember that the post-graduate degree folks are the elitists in the world, and carry also carried the most uneducated.

All I'm going to say is that the categories of "educated" or "intelligent" and "right-wing" are not mutually exclusive, and the same goes for left-wing.
Despite where the majority may lie, there's plenty of inteligent supporters, along with plenty of vapid, moronic ones for each party.

Very true. That's why it's funny to see the media spinning the results of election, blaming it on those "redneck red-staters."

This is just a stereotype that Liberal partisans make up to make themselves feel better. In truth, it isn't true. I'm a conservative, I wanna go to college, and I'm smart.
Not saying you're a partisan, just referring to whoever started this rumor.
