ok nm none of those helped me, one of them there were to many buttons and it didnt send me a verification email and the other one was composed completely of html and I have no idea how to use html, so...any one else got some ideas?

I don't know what to tell you man. Those links j00bie gave you are basically the easiest ways you can set up some free forums. I suggest you try them again because if you take the time to read through the sites, they're actually quite easy to get working.

There are tons of places to get remotly hosted free forums,but they all suck,better get your "own" site and get a phpbb or an invision bbs.

I do have my own site on free webs which is really easy to use apart from all the glitches on it, I was going to use the third one down but I dont know html so I couldnt customize it or anything! and the first one was confusing and didnt send me a verification email so I couldnt use it at all. maybe someone could help me with html if it's not asking to much? thanks anyway though.

I ment get your own server and get your own domain. Its a lot easier,allthough it costs money,but i guess everyone starts with a free site...if you want to learn html there are tons of tutorials on google. Just search for "learn html" or something.

Why? I have phpbb, although it is pretty basic. If you want to make it exciting, you may have to learn more about phpbb - but not much. Of course, mine was "built-in" with my account - I did pay for my account though.

Usually, freebie websites don't allow user made scripts (and now most don't allow FTP access anymore). Your best bet is just to email them or check out their FAQs.

*sigh* - I remember a time when I didn't have to pay for all that stuff...

Learn HTML. Period. That's the only way you're going to be able to do anything. Either that, or use an externally hosted forum service. (here's a good start).

If you really feel like getting fancy, get a web hosting service that provides MySQL and PHP, and learn the PHP language and the MySQL database system. That right there is the ultimate way to code a forum.
