I do wonder something. It's been ages since we last heard from SK and QF. The last time we heard from either of them was in February. Also, it seems SK got married in June, so perhaps real life took over. *sigh* Oh well.

BTW, I don't like to sound impatient, but we have waited for months for something to happen and we've heard nothing. I understand it can take a while to build a site like RG, but an update once in a while would have been nice. However, if both of them gave up on restarting RG, there's not much I can do. It's their decision after all, but I wish I heard something by now.

Could we host RG normally on a host like HostMonster for example?

I'd be willing to help out but like i wouldn't do much with RG to be honest. I would just be like the money side of RG and let like the people who were running RG before (QuilkFox? ShittyKitty?) continue running the site as they see fit.

I forgot that Retrogade.org was already on HostMonster and Quilk fox just showed a picture of RG 6.2 so yeah. Never mind.

I'm officially stating for the record that I won't be working on bringing Retrogade back. Between a full-time job and trying to help the wife finish college and everything else, I just don't have the time that I used to when I would sit on my ass and not study for classes. RG was a very valuable experience for me; I enjoyed the community, and my programming work on that site was my introduction to PHP and running an active website.

Anywho, I'll see if I can ZIP up the old website code and database contents and find somewhere to post them. I'm sure I've still got that stuff buried on my hard drive somewhere. And if anyone's interested in myself, here's a few ways you can find me:

I'm disappointed to hear that, but of course, real life events are a higher priority than a website. Best of luck to you in the future and thanks for taking care of RG while it was still around. I do hope someone is able to host it sometime in the future.

Hey people, I was a retrogade member but wasn't really active... been checking up on this thread every so often. I downloaded the source code and looking at the sizes etc... would be quite happy to host it on my server. But since i was never really an active or well-known member I dunno if you guys would want me to.

Yeah, no kidding. I'd love to see it come back. It was my home away from Newgrounds on the internet. And it had a Sports Forum, too. That was the coolest part about it. Plus, photoshops and artistry was appreciated more when Retrogade was up and running.

You know, if we had a programmer who could re-write the site we could get everything good to go. I have a development blog design made, just needs to be coded, and I have the site layout done, just needs to be coded as well.

I asked my friend whose a programmer but he just has no motivation at the moment to code. Maybe someone else knows of a good programmer?
