Can't say I'm surprised... Some people were saying that Stackhouse should win it (those people are idiots) but it Barbosa was clearly the best 6th man this season, and its about time he started getting recognized, he's been a good player for a while now.
He'd be a starting PG on any other team not named Phoenix, San Antonio, Detroit, or Dallas, really.
Jazz v Rockets tonight... Hopefully Houston can go up 2-0 in that series.

Also, some rumors & such:
Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Garnett has the right to opt out of his contract after next season, and there's rampant speculation that he will do just that and sign with the Los Angeles Lakers as a free agent. Because of that opt-out clause, many NBA observers think Minnesota general manager Kevin McHale should trade Garnett this summer to ensure the team doesn't lose him without getting anything in return.

New York Knicks guard Steve Francis could be headed to the Los Angeles Clippers, where he would reunite with Cuttino Mobley, his close friend and former Houston Rockets teammate.
The Clippers need a veteran point guard, given the age and decline of Sam Cassell and the uncertain status of their injured young prodigy, Shaun Livingston.

The Seattle SuperSonics will try to trade point guard Luke Ridnour and acquire a frontline point guard with size and experience. Ridnour was supposed to have a breakout season, especially after a contract extension. After a series of inconsistencies and bouts with insecurity, however, Ridnour did not give the organization any security about his future as a starting point guard.

Rick Adelman, former coach of the Sacramento Kings and the Portland Trailblazers, is one of the finest offensive minds in the game and conveniently unemployed.
If, as expected, the Seattle SuperSonics indeed relieve Bob Hill of his coaching duties this week, Adelman would make an excellent replacement, perhaps the nearly perfect match.

After the Sacramento Kings fired head coach Eric Musselman last week, Detroit Pistons lead assistant Terry Porter may become a candidate to become his successor.
When asked about the Kings job prior to Saturday night's playoff game against Orlando, Porter was emphatic that his priority is to help the Pistons in their quest to win the NBA title. However, he added that he would like another opportunity to be a head coach. (Wasn't he the interim coach of the Bucks for a while a couple seasons back?)

Count on a fair number of changes with the Boston Celtics' roster for next season, and Sebastian Telfair likely will be one. The point guard, who was arrested on a felony gun charge Friday in New York, probably has played his last game for the team. Aside from the arrest, Telfair had a disappointing first season. Telfair, who will make $2.6 million next season, is easily movable.

Lenny Wilkens has remained tight-lipped on what precisely he wants to do next season with the Seattle SuperSonics.
According to sources, Wilkens does not have an amicable relationship with general manager Rick Sund, who privately became concerned about his future with the team the moment Wilkens joined the ownership group. Wilkens has longed to return to a general manager role and may ask owner Clay Bennett to become the team's new GM.
