Y'all should listen to Idles, Jeff Rosenstock and PUP (trigger warning: Pop Punk)

no u. EDM is for absolute soybois
Stumbled back onto Anti-Flag, a band I used to be well into about a decade ago but haven't listened to in ages.
Glad to see they're still putting out good stuff. Latest album, American Fall, has at least two great tracks on it. The Criminals and Digital Blackout are both up there with their best. Still more into their earlier less poppy stuff (first 4 albums or so) but its still very good.

Saw these guys live tonight. Hell of a gig, but I must be getting too old for punk shows. Went down in the circle pit for Broken Bones twice and was done. My back is fucked, can't stand up straight, and I'm bruised right down one side.
I fucked my leg up not too long ago at a Dropkick Murphys gig too and couldn't walk properly for a couple of months afterwards. Just shoot me, put me down while I still have SOME dignity.

Jeff Rosenstock is awesome. I miss BTMI tho. Every record was perfect.

His music onstage is unlistenable, when he's in a studio then I can understand it
Also that one time he played live with Dee Dee Ramone was the fucking best
Have fun reading the part of the right >:)

almost the entirety of EDM is garbage tier music with some exceptional exceptions

I actually saw them live when they stopped by my town during their reunion(?) tour. I reeked of thrown/spilled beer by the end of the night. They were pretty great. I only discovered them in the same year.
I'll just share something I like:
Hey, Hoping in!
Big fan of Idles & The Distillers. (Also MCR but we don't need to talk about that...)
Idles: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wMehItNQKAA
The Distillers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wlgsF0nVR8w
I'm a passive fan of Punk Rock, i don't interact with communities for it too much since i usually don't know what to say about it. But anyone here like Against Me? I rarely hear anyone talk about them which is a huge shame because they have made some goddamn bangers
i've been listening to punk a lot more lately
my favorite bands are NOFX, Bad Religion, Strung Out, No Use For A Name, and the old Blink 182 stuff
Unwritten Law is pretty underrated too

also where have u been?
i miss u
I'll rotate a lot of different bands just so they don't get stale. So currently I'm listening to the Suicide Machines, the Transplants, AFI, Op Ivy, and some good ol' old Catch 22 after the singer split and grouped up Streetlight Manifesto
Damn I wish I saw this thread sooner

I have no strong opinions about The Offspring, however I do know that there was a Tik Tok challenge wherein participants ate a tablespoon of nutmeg to have the worst hallucinogenic and delirious trip of their lives—seeing demons and watching spiders crawl up their walls, etc. That's the only way I can think that anyone would think the Green Day Trilogy wasn't that bad.

It's kind of like a Pablo Honey IMO, in other words, not that bad but REALLY bad compared to their other albums
