what, he said he doesnt care about a ban. the point of moderating is to enforce the rules and to punish those who break them

he clearly broke the rules and said he wouldent feel punished if he were only banned. then he said he just wanted to get that point out. so to delete his point, he is being punished for breaking a rule. and also its getting rid of a post that broke a rule.

Yeah, I saw that. I just assumed he was talking about the Baron & Wolf arguement that was going on.

I seriously doubt anything will happent to him concerning the past. He knows now not to flame and spam as much. It's in the FAQ, and is basically everwhere now that things are starting to crack down around here. We've all been warned and it's easy as contacting the nearest mod if he does flame or spam agean.

Hey Ozcar, i dunno if its been said here before (havent read all the posts :P) but i think also users MUST know very well and love the subject and pupose/s of the club/crew. Also i think its important to start a club with thinking of not just getting tired of it after a day or so..

Thats true. If you don't go posting everywhere in General, you're not in the "cool" group of NG. Frankly, I don't care. I've got my three clubs that I regularly post in, and that keeps me happy.

As for the stuff Ozcar and Dobio have come up with here, most of it is just common sense. I've always mostly followed it, I've broken them a few times, but mostly I've been okay (I hope). But lots of people on NG, especially those who come to Clubs and Crews, lack common sense, so I think they should be added to the NG rules.

I dont know who but i was in general today and that place is total chaos compared to C&C its like every noob in town posts with anything they can get away with there about every five new topics is so damn crazy and has more spam then anything that C&C's has, ohwell just my rant i guess...

I would have to agree mate, but that, i think is the reason they (the mods) are coming here. Its more out in the open in general and it has several mods on at one time, in the C&C spam can get muddled with an awful lot of posts and then buried within the clubs, which is just gonna be refrenced to again sometime in the future and it all starts again. Its kind of a pity because, all the good clubs with a serious topic and a serious amount of members get scrutinised even more because of the amount of pages they have, people assume, well that has 40/100/400 pages it must be spam/shit/whatever. And i dont like that.

if you take a look at the general forum, you'll see some locked topics with no mod posts. mods don't have to show their presence all the time.

Yea. If you were a moderator, and you have to put up with so much forum bullshit everyday, usualyl the stupid rule breaking topics get no mod post. I wouldn't waste my time for someone who has posted something utterly stupid and irrelevent to everything relevent.

that reminds me of the time the OCP topic got locked. people kinda flipped out because there was no locking messege.

i wasn't so angry it was locked, figured it would be eventualy for the chit chat, but it was kind of sad that nobody fessed up to it. my theory is that they did the pick straws type deal for who was going to lock it and then whoever lost didn't want to get so many people angry that he just didn't write a messege

Ive heard from 3 or 4 of the current mods that Wade has told them that they are supposed to post before locking the topic, as well as putting your alias/email at the end of a ban message.

Not sure why, but it makes sense... didnt happen this time... I'd like to know what was wrong with the club so I dont feel that our club was locked due to mods personal preference on things >:(
