Well like I said, it's all around on shelves down here in the south. In North Carolina you can't walk through Wal-Mart without seeing it. It's the same way for my friend in Atlanta. I think areas of Florida and New York also have it.

It's just being shipped at different times. It should be everywhere by tomorrow.

Sorry, I don't have enough money and plus I'll keep playing the Flash version.

look at it this way. it can't be any worse than the hl2 launch. what with all the bugs and crap that went with it early on. seriously, who was the genius that came up with the idea that you MUST be online to play an offline only game?

I heard from both gamestop and EB in the NW Ohio area that they wouldn't be carrying it until the 22nd. I was looking forward to getting AH, but atleast I walked away with a new copy of Disgea.

My dad lay dying in the hospital and I briefly left his bedside to pick up AH...of course it wasn't there. As I returned to ICU and heard the incessant blare of his failed heart monitor, I feel to my knees, opened a utility knife and sawed off my nuts as family & physicians alike watched in horror...horror, but grave understanding.

It's ok, at least you took affirmative action and notifed your newgroundites. I'm sure when AH does actually make it onto the market it'll sell just fine. Don't blame yourself, you have no control of shipping difficulties. As long as it comes out, we're all happy. =D

Tom,I used to work for Game stop... this is what happened... Games that have a shipping date of Noc. 16 and are expected to be BIG sellers... will be given next day shipping... Budget titles will be given 3-5 day shipping... its just a way to "save" money... It sucks I know... but I hope that helped..

Atleast you can be happy about the reviews though, right?! I have read reviews from EGM, PSM, OPM and several other publications and all of them have given rave reviews about the game. I am ecstatic to see that these usually biased reviewers are stating the very obvious this time around: that AH deserves high praise for it's ingenuity and indie roots.

Long live newgrounds and the things we've come to love that come from it!

It sucks, but it's not surprising. Unless it's got a title such as Final Fantasy or GTA, the chances of a game being in stores varies. Like all things indie, store conglomerates are gate-keepers to videogames. Which is of course ironic, because the more prominent software companies are more likely to produce shoddy games full of glitches.

You sure that's the case? When I worked at Software Etc, the only special attention highly-anticipated games got was larger shipping orders. That was pretty much it.

Though to be fair, it's been about four years since I worked there, and things just might've changed...

Shipping date and release date are two different things. It's just like with DVD shipping dates and release dates. Or comics, the ship ship date may be the 7th, but the items have to be loaded onto a truck/plane, etc. Then "shipped", and then arrive. The shipping date is not the release date is all I am saying.
