Alien Hominid PS2 On Shelves?

I haven't checked with any stores yet, but I'm assuming Alien Hominid is on store shelves today for the PS2, with the Gamecube version following a week later.

If you see AH in stores today, let us know on this thread! Apparently Walmart is doing a test run of 200 stores - if it sells well in those 200 stores, they will expand the market for it. If you see AH in your local Walmart, snag it. :)

I know many of you are sick of hearing about AH, but there are always newcomers to the site who don't know the back-story. Alien Hominid started out as a Flash game on Newgrounds just over two years ago. Dan Paladin created all the artwork, and I did all the coding. In the two years since then, we have worked ungodly hours to get a console version of AH on the shelves. Today is the day when the dream should finally become reality!

I just got back from walmart and Samgoody not to long ago, and there was no coppies of Alien hominid there. They might be late on stocking shelves though too, I will head back later and take another look.

until I get a straight answer about xbox, Im not getting the GC version.

If its not coming out for it fine, you can say that.

If it is coming out, just a some time in the future thats ok.

If you are having some problems getting an xbox license for AH, fine.

if you are going to add new features to AH for xbox, like the possiblility of using LIVE, sweet.

but not ignoring it after countless people bring it up, and even saying that you were 'trying' to make it on all consoles, and then when the game sites list the game as GC and PS2 only and you wouldn't really comment on it...

It seemed like you were working on some sort of xbox version of it, unless this isnt a dev xbox

Congratulations on the completion of game Tom and DP. Hopefully this game will pave the way to for more people to make more games in this method and will also get some more old school flava in the gaming market.
