Nice. Think Fear Factory, but heavier.

I am listening to KMFDM right now. As far as the Industrial Metal groups go, I love this one, they have such a great sense of humour. (As evedinced by 'Sucks')

The best thing about buying CDs is that if it turns out you don't like them, you just lie and say that you bought it for a friends birthday and someone else also got him it. As long as you keep it in good condition, nobody will complain.

I want to get more Aborym sometime, but right now I am focusing upon the early Industrial artists that were experimental. Then I am going to get some noisy stuff (like Boyd Rice).

I've never heard of the artist.

Right now I am listening to KMFDM, but I did get myself a TG record (Heathen Earth) with Addiction being my favourite track. I mean, I love their Industrial songs, but they excelled at Electro-Pop like you wouldn't believe.

Arg, I've been putting off checking out industrial for a while now. What's a good starting point/band?

You guys all need to check out Rob Dougan. The guy mixes neo-classical with trip-hop beats and all of his songs are amazing.

Send me an IM over AIM or MSN if you want to hear a song. <3

Starting from metal:

Fear Factory "Digimortal" and "Obsolete" albums

Skinny Puppy

Starting from anything else:

Die Warzau

VNV Nation

I think I might have heard it. By Delirium, I really like "Silence", especially that DJ Tiësto remix.

Industrial_Darth, what kind of trance do you like?

I'll join the club, being that I enjoy Electronic Music and make it. For the most part the electronic music I hear are videogame remix's. My fav people out of that class are bLiNd and Haroon Piracha "talked to them both =)." But as for techno/trance I like PPK and TSV if you have ever heard of them.

Well, I am not that keen on Industrial Rock, but I'd suggest you start off there.

Darth listed VNV Nation, and that is a very good starting point considering how soft their sound can be. Personally, I started off with Throbbing Gristle, but they are quite experimental, so you may not like that.

Laibach are quite hard, but not too hard. Rammstein, Nine Inch Nails and Marilyn Manson are all very good opening points for the music considering their sway with popular culture.

Right now, I am enjoying Cabaret Voltaire's 'The Crackdown' album. It's amazing to think that this band formed out of boredom.

Hi everyone!

I've just submitted my fourth song to the Audio Portal, in Drum n Bass.

It goes under the title Cold Power.

Why don't you check it out!

I would like to join this club. i am not sure what bands i like, becauswe i have only checked out the ones in the portal. Daft Punk is the only one i have heard, and they are great. I am mostly into Drum 'n Bass, Dance, and trance. I really need some music making software besides fruity loops. I always get an error with that program.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I think ejay is pretty sweet. It's basically just loops, but you can record stuff into it aswell with a mike.

Download the trial version, you can do whatever you want wiht it and there's no time limit. It's a little tricky at first. It's expenisve to buy but worth it. The DEMO rocks when you start though.

I prefer that which is under the hardcore genre/style of electronica: hard-hop, breakbeat, happy hardcore, and gabber. I also like trance and drum & bass.
