1.) Almost everyone on NG already knows about Runescape.

B.) Newgrounds is a flash site and runescape is in java, plus having two servers run by different people may end up in some lag issues or imbalacing and possibly hacking of one or the other, plus I don't think those Jagex bastards are the sharing type.

*ahem, sorry for the outburst. Runescape is painfully slow to play, and suggesting that everyone on Newgrounds play it would make it even slower, much less meaningless.
While the game has some advantages (MMORPG, easy to learn) it is too restricted in game play, and isn't that fun, really. Also, it moves very slowly.

Runescape has been around for a long time; I don't think people who haven't gotten into it would be interested. Anywho, if you want to try it, go for it. However, there are other more powerful engines (such as Wyvern) which are just as entertaining, and much better built.

I tried Runescape once, I'll admit to that. But it was so slow, and clicking to move got old fast. I played it for 10 minutes, and got tired of it. I haven't played it since, and I never want to.

Wow, I replied to this topic a month ago.....

I've played Everquest for about 2 hours now. They are pretty muc the same quality graphics and everything is kind of the same. I have to say, after playing EQ for 2 hours and RS for 2 months, EQ is much better.

Those 60,000 people who log on everyday are people who don't have friends. That's why random people follow you around in that game, and ask you to marry them (has happened to me many times). You should go outside and get a breath of fresh air, then realize you're a nazi.

RuneScape is one of the worst games I've ever seen. It even sucks for a free game. You should die for calling that game "good." Go buy Diablo II for fifteen bucks, it's thousands of times better.

Have you ever typed 'runescape' into the search bar? have you seen the pages upon pages of information about it? have you seen how many responses there have been on those pages?!?
