Nobody has said for sure yet. He had a brain hemorrhage, and his internal organs shut down. Of course, there is already a theory that he was poisoned.

well when you've been cornered in a place for 3 long years...you can become more mune to diseases and illnesses, especially if you're living in an unkempt place where arafat was...(thanks to the person correcting my spelling on arafat)...I think he died of a poisoning attempt....we'll prolly never know....
