My heart surgery.

I'm scheduled for this Monday to get it done, but I haven't decided whether or not I should go through with it... I'm too scared, and I wasn't built to handle these kinds of situations. If I don't do this it's going to crush my family and friends because I'm about to run out of insurance, and it will be hard to get insured again..

I don't know what to do. I just wanted to let everyone here know it's scheduled for Monday. I won't make any more posts on Newgrounds until then, and if I go ahead and get it I won't be making posts (Because I'll be in surgery). If I don't post at Newgrounds in over two weeks, then I'm dead... I guess we'll see what happens.

DOn't be scared abotu surgery,you'll be asleep the whole time,my sister had surgery awhile ago and when she woke up she didn't realise she had it,she wasn't in any pain at all,you've got a logn life ahead of you(hopefully) so don't waste it over 1 fear,good luck with whatever path you choose

I'm not going to give you the usual kind words of how great a person you are and how I wish you all the best - sure, it's true. You're a fantastic guy from what I know, and though NG doesn't take up a huge portion of my life, the fact is when I'm on it, you're one of the people who I really think is genuinely cool.

But the fact is, you don't need to hear all this. You're going to come back to NG in a week or so, make your hilarious threads once more, joke around with the NG regulars and put up with the thousands of adoring females, and homosexual males, who want to feel your sexy soft hair.

Bottom line dude: you're going to be fine. Sure, there is a chance you won't be. There's a chance we all could be hit by a bus tomorrow - in my area especially, there's a chance I'll be mugged and beaten up the next time I walk out the house. Life isn't a safety net, but I have every confidence you'll pull through. Stay optimistic, and remember that modern medicine is a wonderful thing. Surgeons are skilled, and you're in the safest hands you can possibly be.

I doubt this post will serve as comfort, because I'm muddling my words up a bit - I'm never any good at advice or support. But all I'm saying is, if you do decide to go through with it, it WILL be fine. The fact is, you can't guarantee anything - but worrying will not boost your chances. Peace man,

Well, there's nothing I can say that hasn't already been said, but I'd just like to offer my best wishes and hope you have a speedy recovery. I know the surgery seems daunting, but it's for the best. You'll go to sleep, and a few hours later you'll wake up again and not realised it's happened.

You'll probably feel a bit groggy for the first few days after the operation, I had a very sore throat for the first few days after I had my adenoids removed. But hopefully you'll recover in no time and will be back to posting wonderfully silly threads.

All the best, and don't worry about it. You'll lead a better quality of life if you do get this done.

I have known this was coming for a long time.

Luckily, he's haveing one of the best surgeons in the country doing his heart valve opperation.

His surgeon has never lost a person yet, and he specializes in this type of surgery.

Matt is young and healthy, so he shouldnt have any problems.

Nevertheless, lets keep him in our prayers.

He asked me to form some kind of sig chain for him, when the time came near. So if you feel the need to, Change your sig, in respect for the syko.
