AH in Dutch... Translator?

Does anyone here speak Dutch? We are working on foreign language translations of Alien Hominid, and could use a Dutch translator. Please post in this thread if you can lend a hand!

I've seen 3 of 4 dutch people replied to this news, Maybe that's a good team. Because translating isn't that easy as some think. You should manage to get the english word to dutch but it should have (plus minus) the same amount of letters, Like:
You can translate "PLAY" into:
"Beginnen"
"Starten"
"Begin"
"Start"
and so on...I would pick "Begin" for this one because "Start" also is an english word...oh wait, Begin is too! :P whatever...

If I'd translate that back, i'd say:"Someone turned the bomb on."

Any dutch dude would understand "play"anyhow. But there are more options than those. But "afspelen" is the most accurate.

"Beginnen"=to begin
"Starten"= to start
"Begin"=begin
"Start"=start.
äfspelen"=play

If I'd translate that back, i'd say:"Someone turned the bomb on."

You are 100% right, I always translate back dutch to english if I translated something to check if it's the same...I would translate "Someone set us up the bomb" as "Iemand zette ons de bom op" or something like that
