I was messing around with Adobe and I made this. It's not that good, but look in the center and move your head towards it.
(It doesn't look as good on Newgrounds because I had to make it smaller)

Whoa, it's like a vortex. Try animating it by making around 10 frames, and for each frame apply a filter>distort>pinch. Then it would simulate the effect of moving your head towards it.

I don't believe it's even in his profile. I just know from seeing him post it. I don't check profiles too much either.

nice use of gradients. You can also only post one item at a time, hence why i am posting so much here just to show someof my older peices...
like this bullshit one that used to sell for 20 bucks a print, 200 copies sold, and its something i dont even belive in. It won me a trip to state for the reflections contest my jr yearof highschool though. :)

this one is one of my favorites from way back in the day, because i photoshopped a pot onto my sisters head and wrote "drugs are bad, dont be a pothead" and recolorized it and added detail with some bitchin' ink outlines.

Not quite sure whether this is counted in what you rate, but it's by far my best. It's a photo-manipulation of 5 images.

And this one was done completely from scratch. Took me ages. Had a photo of the coast as a reference point. Meant to look like a watercolour.

Drunken Penguin, that watercolor picture is awesome! Was it all painted in 'shop?
ArtistJ, you said you sold some of those prints around my age. How did you manage to get people to buy them? How did you go about it? I would love to start trying to make profit off of my work.

yea, all the pictures that i was holding were made when i was between 15 and 17. I dont have anything from earlier than that, although i already had several years of photoshop under my belt at that time.
the main ways i started selling can be broken into three catagories.
the first is very basic. I participated in many exibits and art shows for highschool students, where i earned the reputation as one of the best non-traditional artists in our area. On the tag next to name and grade and title of the peice, i would write "for sale" on the sticker that peels off, and i would usualy get a call. I always had to tell them the number of prints made, and since it was a usualy a small run, self funded, i didnt make that much profit, maybe 5 to 10 bucks a sale, after all other costs were figured in.
The other way is i befreinded local bands and offered free drum decalls to replace shity felt ones. They eventualy asked me to make them some pposters for show which i did for nearly free. after they realy got to like my style, the had me make tshirts and sticker prints which i was paid for. I know alot of you make shity cafe press tshirts, but thye have no message or purpose so no one buys them. You need to back a band, so all the bands fan's buy your shit. I was a DJ at the time and i sold stuff under my own name as well, since i would scratch and dj around the scene. Then i did all the one bands album art for 10 cents a cd, and all the art on the cd itself. their band talked to another band, i was employed by them and another. In all, i did 5 cds, two for the band that got me on my feet, before droping that scene after an argument seperated me from the bands. They were hard to work with, cause they never knew what they wanted.
the last way i sell, is i buy a table at the flea market and sell art that apeals to drug addicts, and crazy ghetto folks. Things involving drug paraphanalia and sexy girls in provacatve situations sold well. In order to sell things like this you always need to have big prints. Kinkos can be your best friend, because huge posters print well.
