I do not like PETA extremists, you know the wacko's who go and burn stuff, isn't there like an Animal Liberation thingy, of course not associated with PETA. I am not dissing PETA, just the hardcore members who want everything involving animals to be stricken from the earth, you know, like insulin shots.

Allow me to clairfy that meaning. The kind who don't touch meat only for theimselves don't really have a problem with prople who do eat meat, such as a high school friend of mine. I like meat, she is a vegetarian. It's the PETA psychos who want to ban this perfectly legal act, altogether. Not just meat, but dairy, too. That's basically the only real difference. If I was garbled in that description, I'm sorry.

I could never eat only meat or veggies. I'd get so bored.
Which is why I say "There's no point in eating one or the other! We are on top of the food chain and we can eat anything we want!"
That was a rubbish commentary...

No need to be sorry, most vegatarians are convinced that they understand very subjective terms like "right" and "wrong".

Nope, there are many drinks that vegetarians cannot have. Generally, we can have spirits, but we generally cannot have a beer.

Wha......!!?? Let me think about the last beer I brewed. Let's see, barley, yeast, hops, water. Nope, no meat here. Oh wait, unless you count the fermented puppies' blood.

One day humans will eat neither plants nor animals. Instead computers and machines will create our food from hydrogen and carbon atoms, we tell it what we want and it will magically appear.
Until that day I will continue to eat meat.

There is nothing wrong with vegetarians, except having to eat a bunch of servings of nuts and alternatives to get ur proteins and other nutrients.

Isinglass, it is used as a thinner in many beers. Like I said, it is just a general rule, not a set. But most manufacturers use it.

Tell that to PETA. They manufactured a ton of bumper stickers reading, "Milk sucks. Got beer?" They got in hot water with the law for that, too. Milk is not only perfectly legal, but it's also good for growing kids and adults, alike. PETA, of course, disagreed. But what they were doing with those bumper stickers, I'll narrow it down for you with a simple equation.
"Milk sucks. Got beer?" bumper sticker + car + law enforcement officer = Bad idea taken out of context.
Long story short? Law enforcement agents thought they were promoting drunk driving. They damaged their own reputation without a meat-eater involved.

Fish don't have feelings.. And it's also quite a bit healthier than beef or pork.

I hate the kind of vegetarians who want to force you to eat the same food as them. People like PETA, who wage their war on fast-food restaurants, meat packaging companies, and many other things that offend them (like circuses, zoos, and research labs).
That brand-new South Park episode really did a number of those extremists. ROFL!

I know you're joking but some people really think that cows have feelings. How silly is that?
On the subject of beer, hardcore vegans won't drink it because yeast is an organism so they won't eat bread either, but those are only the hardcore vegans. My brother still drinks beer.
The reason I don't agree with veganism is that I've lived a lifestyle where I had to kill to eat. It wasn't a bad thing, just necessary because for all my training I had neglected to research all the edible plants in the area.
Additionally, I don't like the fact that my parents catered entirely to my brother's new lifestyle leaving me with high grocery bills on top of the loser being broke and not paying the insurance for our car that he alone gets to drive.

They have nerves, thus they can feel pain, thus they have feelings. Fish don't.

You can be a hardcore vegan and eat yeast. Yeast isn't commonly ruled out in any regular vegan diet - animal products, byproducts, and at the most extreme - stuff like honey. Yeast? I have never met someone who wouldn't eat yeast.

Um... besides blood, chicken fat, and other disgusting liquids... why could vegetarians not drink various non-animal liquids? I'm a vegan. No milk. No milk. No eggs. I chose not to drink soda. Or other drinks containing citric acid. That has nothing to do with being a vegan. Why can't I drink beer?

Google "Fish nerve cell." Fish have nerves.
On the topic of beer, I realize that they do use that ingredient mentioned in a latter post, but still, this is relating to vegetarianism, not veganism. Vegetarians eat things along the lines of cheese and such, containing enzymes scraped from dead dead baby cows' stomachs. However, it isn't difficult to find beer without said ingrdient.
On the topic of yeast, yeast is single celled. If you say a vegetarian can't eat yeast, that is like saying a vegetarian can't wash his fork after he eats because it will kill bacteria (also single celled). Animals are in the kindom of "Animalia," which contains only multi-celled organisms.

WTF? NIRVANA LIED TO ME!!!!
Underneath the bridge
The tarp has sprung a leak
And the animals I've trapped
Have all become my pets
And I'm living off of grass
And the drippings from the ceiling
It's okay to eat fish
'Cause they don't have any feelings

I am a vegetarian, but only because I don't like the taste of meat. To the idiot who started this topic, you shouldn't flame people simply because they have different food preferences; and it's not like you have never eaten a plant. People can survive on plants alone, but the only people who can survive solely on meat are Eskimos because they have adapted to the cold, Arctic environment where there is very little vegetation. So, unless you're an Eskimo, you should stop flaming vegetarians, because then you're being a hipocryte.
