Hello fellow Blam Club members! As you may have noticed, I haven't posted for quite a while now. The reason for my absence is that I have thinking long and hard about whether I should stay in the club. For the past few weeks I have been keeping my eye on most of the targets posted both here and at the website. It saddened me to see all the good movies that were posted, because of the lack of blammable movies. I have come to the conclusion that some members of the club are becoming a little "Blam Happy". They seem to be more worried about their blam count, rather than deleting bad movies. I know this, because I too, became obsessed with the joys of blamming for a while.
Lack of Blammable movies? I don't think so. You haven't gone soft on crappy submissions, have you?
I'd agree the club hasn't been blamming nearly much as possible, but that is because of the current problems with the site. The SQL errors which slows down users, and in turn make blamseeking a lot tougher and time-consuming, are not our fault. As well, I've noticed that the site has been moving very slow lately ... which never helps our cause, either.
Now, I've seen that a few users have been blam happy. I believe this is my fault. I was one of the first members to put up a screenshot of my blam count, and since then, most people who reached one hundred or two hundred did the same. You, for one. However, I haven't drawn attention to my number of blams for a very long time (even when others did). In fact, the more I and other members mentioned that individual blam counts don't matter, the more users had included their BLAM total in their BBS signature! Something would seem VERY wrong, no?
To me, this is an important concern, but then I understood that being caught up in "the joys of blamming" happens to everyone. Last week, Ramagi, the member who's profile states "My blam count doesn't matter; I just want to get rid of crap from the site!", drew attention to her achievement of 100 blams.
All the members come here to help to delete bad movies. Well, if bad movies are deleted by BLAMMING, then you can see why everyone really wants to blam and showcase their individual achievements at one time or another. I'd say that as long as the members who are proud of their blam counts don't get carried away by making a huge deal of it, and don't lose sight of the club's goal, then it's all good.

Maybe it is time to implement a system in which members vote on the movies to be blammed (like MI4_REAL said when the club was being formed).
I have developed a way for the blam club to operate at it's peak. I'm going to discuss it with MI4_REAL_2001, and I hope this takes the club to a new level. It will be fair to the Flash entries, and allow us to remove crap more efficiently. I hope to implement it after my exams are over in about two weeks.

Anyways, today I am resigning from the club. Farewell, and as always....Blam On!!!
Take care. I've enjoyed blamseeking with you in the past. I think I speak for everyone when I say you've been a great member of the BLAM Club, and you're welcome back anytime.
(I hope I didn't screw up anywhere in this large post.)
