Allrighty. I've done some hax0ring, and I've got some necessary stuff finished on http://www.sheltered-life.com/blam

All members added after this point will now receive an automated email which contains a randomly generated password. This email will also urge them to chage their password via the "change password" function I created.

Current members who don't have a password yet need only to supply their email address. A club administrator can then have the same sort of automated email sent to them from the administration interface.

So, those of you who are current members but don't have a password, post your email address and one will be generated and sent to you.

MI4_REAL_2001 - you should probably be the first one to post your email addy so I can set you up with administration access.

I've got the multiple submissions problem covered. You won't see the same target listed twice. That's pretty simple code.

I intend on having the list refresh itself and remove blammed targets automatically. It's going to take some pretty hefty coding, though, and I want to get this initial groundwork out of the way. In the meantine, the target URL list will have to be updated manually.

Let me know if you get your password. I've only had a chance to test it on myself.

Yeah, the password is generated at random - they're all like that. You can change it to something easier to remember via the "Change Password" link at the top of the page at http://www.sheltered-life.com/blam

The names in the list on the website are identical to how they appear in the user list that is posted here. I changed yours for you, though.

Once (if) the club admins get their passwords, they can straighten out the list details. I'm waaaaaay down on the member list.

I'm not involved in all that managerial stuff. I jus works here.

For tyhose of you..i just downloaded a program "No ads"...used Yahoo to search..its free and all you have to do is add the weppage module within the program and Presto! no more bonzi buddy popup ads or go to shop.com ads

Am I being ignored, or have you just not noticed my repeated advertising and pleas for your input regarding http://www.sheltered-life.com/blam?

I'm not trying to be a dick, I'm just wondering...after all, I've put lots of work into it and would like to know if it's going to be utilized before I go any further.

Just got my 2nd Blam! Yeah! I've Blammed an absolute ton, but always seem to get hosed. I've Blammed at least 10 movies on the 24th, 49th, 74th or 99th (all under their respective point totals needed) and haven't gotten the Blam. It's not like I wait for those numbers, but they've just worked out that way. My 2nd Blam came on the 50th vote. Let the BLAMMING continue! Long live BLAMMING and long live good NG movies!

I uploaded the member data, so the roster on the main page is current (I guess). The club administration still needs to get a password to me so they can log in and access the administration interface. Guys, if you're a club op or whatever (the people responsible for maintaining the roster), leave your email address so I can send you a random password, which you can then change.

Before anyone on the roster can submit a target URL for blamming, they'll need a password entered in the database.

Which brings me to an interesting point. How the hell to get everyone's password. About the most secure way I can think of is for you to leave your email address here, and let me generate a random password and send it to you. I'll add a function shortly which will allow you to change your own password.

There may be some people who aren't cool with posting their email address here. Well, I understand completely, but you'll have to come up with some way for me to get a password to you.

So, everyone take a moment to check out the site, let me know what you think, and leave your email address here if you want me to send you a password.

Damn... you guys are sad that you get 1-4 blams a day. My first blam was last week and I haven't gotten one since. I go on for like 1 hour just blamming movies, no luck at all. What are all the checkpoints again? I know the first one is 25. WAIT! I also have an idea for Tom or Wade. They should make an advanced portal search engine. Like say Choose to vote at movies around 0.70 and below? Or movies at a checkpoint?

just to let you know that Blamfighter nimmer has technical problems: our server is down (in the student house) and in the university there's a virus. So the next couple of days i won't be very active, you won't get targets for me but i'll make sure i vote everyday on 5 or 10 movies/games.
