From seeing the excessive entries of CRAP entries on this Portal, I have come to an idea to make the server go faster, and removing CRAP at the same time.

My idea is to start a club....if you are in, and willing to post your email address here (Not me, you will only know it if I mail ya, sorry >_<)

I will give you a target and we will team up to BLAM the movie. We can clear the server. If anyone objects to the BLAMming of a movie, then I, the founder, can choose another target. Hopefully NewGrounds will run better, and all CRAP shall be removed.

Only downside is that someone might actually help a bona-fide crap movie, so I will only enlist Dark Auras for now.

Is this an OK idea? Anyone in?

I had this one idea that would make the server go faster. Remove the top 50. Those are the movies that use up all the bandwidth. We could also get rid of most of the users too!

Anyway, its been said time and time again: Crap entries do not effect server speed as much as people think.

I am thinking it may help, besides, they did put a BLAM feature for one reason, to eject the crap here.

And if this thing goes underway, -bomb-, we need you!

The frame removal supposedly made the site faster, the movie removal should do it more. Who knows, only Tom would really know that.

I got a new idea, should this club be formed, any movies above a rating of 1.80 will not be targeted, although there are some movies that are 3.00 (seriously) that are HORRIBLE pieces of crap that are totally BLAM worthy...then a vote would have to be taken.

that isnt very nice. you should let nature take its course, otherwise it will chaotic with people ganging up on others to vote their movie off just because they had a tiff with them. no i think everyone should vote of their own will.

Ok....you guys are right....we should give the less talented ones a chance...but what about crap movies that have been on the portal forever? I mean, those just sitting there collecting dust? I have seen some movies that have been there for months (Origin) that are total crap....

This one is about 10 days old...but to me, this is crap.

I'm pretty impartial myself. I only recently got 10 blams, but I've tried the club thing and the only thing I really got was a bunch of people comparing me to Hitler.

I'll have to point out that the movies I target tend to be very close to removal anyway, or have been for some time and no one had voted them off yet.

Some may argue that I have something against a particular group or person. The 10 movies I have blammed are from all different people. I'm an equal-opportunity BLAMhead: any crappy movie is fair game as far as I am concerned.

If the Clocks do make a good movie, I vote accordingly. If the movies suck, I vote accordingly.

Looking for movies to blam is no big deal. People that do that are called blam seekers. I think the problem is when a group gets together and decides what is good and what is crap. From the sounds of things from the guy who first posted, he wants to blam movies that are in the 3s just because he deems it crap. That is where the whole nazi thing comes from. He or she thinks that cleaning up the undesireables will help newgrounds much like the nazis felt that eliminating Jews would help Germany. To have a powerful group that can eliminate any movie it deems unworthy opens up a scary predicament.

Oh, get over yourselves. I've seen numerous blam crews, and they all lost their momentum. This one will whither away like the rest of them. And you know what? I don't blam as a means of regulating the portal. More than enough crap streams in everyday to be of any effect. I blam simply because I like to. Yeah, I'm a sadist.

Well, This is no different, but it is not because "We like to" Since you are L29, you are more than likely to get the BLAM, so it makes no difference to you, AND it regulates the portal.

First of all, READ MY FUCKING POSTS..

First of all, no recent entries or video-game parodies are targeted.

Second of all, it must be less than 1.75-1.80

Third, it must be deemed by majority vote

Fourth, it must be bona-fide crap

fifth, WE ARE NOT BULLIES DAMMIT

Sixth, it must be on for at least one month, with a 4.00 review rating or less or something around there, where the majority is deemed crap..preferably with 30+ reviews.

I don't just BLAM anything I see, if you haven't already guessed.

People wage war on the Portal by sending in crap (or at least Toms summary on the Clock Crew (the main clocks) says that they are organized in a portal war of sorts..I can copypaste it here if you don't care to go yourselves and read it.

And Tampax_Clock, I will try not to stereotype all clocks as bad...but one thing is for sure, some of them are bad, and deliberately crap up the portal.

why should I care? I don't know, but why should I care if they get BLAMmed...everyone knows the rule, if a movie is good, it does not get BLAMmed..simple as that.

Damn straight, And if someone objected to it, then we can just find something else to BLAM. I am suprised the BLAM seekers aren't all over this....

And bomb, I don't see why you have to blam EVERYTHING....besides, shit movies are easier to blam, from what I see, you just need 1-2 votes to increase your BLAM count indefinitely. Unlike the 3.00+ shit you probably try to BLAM.

But I won't judge, for all I know, you are the same as I am. But judging by your attitude towards it, you vote X on all of it, right?

Usually if a movie has 1000 votes, I just ignore it.
