Basically the only things I can think of would be muchmusic/musicplus' website.
And for candian magazines, no clue.
Problem is most things I've seen thus far for Canada is targeting either stupid children (mainly 11-17 year olds) and 35+ers.
The alternative press is somewhat limited as is the young adult (read: Mature Content) crowd. However due to the lack of alternative media in Canada you can possably get a good reaction from Musicplus\Much Music sites. Just try not to mention you work with Troma. Not all of what Llyd says about the corporate conspiracies is blown out of proportion *lol*.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful, I don't watch T.V , and as was alluded to Magazines hold little interest (except for satire like "Mad") and as for websites I don't believe I visit any strictly Canadian sites, but it's hard to tell because a lot of Canadians don't care about politics , nationalities or what have you. At least not to the extent of putting it up on the web.
There's my 2 cents.

Canada is an America that's called Canada, exept that we've got stupid French people instead of stupid Mexicans. All of the sites in the U.S. that are popular should be popular here.

Any input on this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I wouldn't know, being an an-average Canadian, but I can tell you, it's just like the US style-wise, except we like everything colder, more Liberal (grumble), and with free Health Care, and submarines that catch fire because our goverment doesn't put any money into the military anymore.

i resent the whole "we're just another america" feeling
although, when i visited Toronto a couple years ago, it felt a lot like the US. The same general antipathy towards everyone else, everyone overly busy.
Halifax, however, is not like any part of America I've ever been to. It's great. everyone is friendly, the rich and the poor aren't separate, and the crazyness of life really just is a laughable city-effect, not a rule to live by.

What are some of the most popular websites in Canada?

NHL.com *(quite obvious we ARE Canadians...)
CanadaKA.ca *(a concentration of guy things, Canadified)
canucks.com *(if I dont put this here I'm betraying myself)

main one would be the middle, its a humor/guy stuff site. Great stuff there, hope this tiny list helps

You know, the absolute best canadian show and website that I've come across is by far OddJobJack.com. Not only is this a canadian animated show, but it's all done in flash! It's been broadcasted on The Comedy Network and by far is one of the funniest shows I've ever seen.

BTW I'm an Albertan! Go Ralphy and his AISH comments!

I dunno if there is much magazines here in canada that isnt influenced by america, so it doesnt really matter choosing a canadian magazine. Just choose one magazine thats popular in america, and its bound to be popular here in Canada.

I know a lot of my friends go to www.HabboHotel.ca . It's more of a virtual Flash hotel than a site, but it might help.
