Well if your trying to advritse a certan product like say a video game i would try to get advertisments in magizines like SBC Skateboarding. Which is popular in western Canada, or on somthing like Electronic Playground a really popular show here. Is this to try to get a market intrested in a certain video game? hmmmm...

I will list a website and it's contents of the 25 top canadian magazines for your own discretion: (Maclean's is #1)

Maclean's

TV Guide

Reader's Digest

Chatelaine

Time

Canadian Living

7 Jours/TV 7 Jours

Homemaker's/Madame au Foyer

TV Hebdo

L'actualitè

Flare

Sports Illustrated Canada

Chatelaine (French)

Selection du Reader's Digest

Report on Business Magazine

Coup de Pouce

Western Living

Canadian Business

Toronto Life

Saturday Night

The Medical Post

Le Lundi

Hockey News

Financial Post Magazine

Elle Quèbec

That website is: http://newslink.org/mtopc.html
There you have it. I don't really read any. All the ones I read are from the U.S.

he did ask for COOLEST too :o

Maclean's

not aimed at teens

TV Guide

not aimed at teens

Reader's Digest

not aimed at teens

Chatelaine

aimed at women who like to decorate

Time

aimed at old people who like news

Canadian Living

aimed at old folks ( like 35, ew)

7 Jours/TV 7 Jours

aimed at middle-ages people who watch too much tv in Quebec

Homemaker's/Madame au Foyer

lol why even write this

TV Hebdo

tv but for Quebec

L'actualitè

no way these people would feature ng without bashing it

Flare

is that for gays? not sure

Sports Illustrated Canada

ew

Chatelaine (French)

ew

Selection du Reader's Digest

ew

Report on Business Magazine

yeah maybe. no.

Coup de Pouce

middle-age people

Western Living

middle-age people

Canadian Business

people with money ( not Ng goers)

Toronto Life

losers

Saturday Night

never heard of

The Medical Post

lol no

Le Lundi

ew middle-age new for Quebecers who like hockey too much

Hockey News

er same thing

Financial Post Magazine

we don't have money on NG

Elle Quèbec

mag for women in Quebec.

See, out of the 25 magazines, I'm about 100% that none of them would ever want to have anything to do with NG, and NG would completely miss its target audience by advertising in them ( or whatever Tom has in mind :o )

Yeah but how many teens do you see reading magazines anyway? I can't even think of any real teen magazines. Macleans is the most readily available though, so as for "cool" or "popular" that's as close as you're going to get for a Canadian magazine. I remember even when I was younger, I'd read one while in a waiting room or read one from the large stash in my bathroom.

god you're an idiot...

the rest of the posters are right... canada sort of sucks for creative underground magazines. i'm just glad i got the hell out of saskatchewan, that place is a cultural black hole.

if you're looking to advertise a certain game, the best place to do it would be Electric Playground. Any canadian teens that go to newgrounds with any regularity would watch that show.

there's a million ones for girls-only where the explain their crush on boys n' shit, there's comic books, there's video game magazines, pc mags, porn, cars, sports and a loooooot of other shit like that.

There's heaps of magazines out there who have a target audience about the same age as NG, only they're usualy not exclusively canadian :o Most of the stuff aimed at teens comes from the U.S. and Japan

We canadians read pretty much everything that comes from the US (good or bad).

But I did a lil research on <A>www.google.ca<A> (also a very popular canadian site & my personal favorite). Here is a list of magazines I think might be the ones your more specificly looking for:

<A>http://www.digitaljournal.com<A>

<A>http://www.blackflash.ca <A> ( 3 issues/year :( )

Also, because Canada has 2 official languages French,English ... You should also consider French Magazines & Websites.

<A>http://www.toile.qc.ca/<A>

But i'd say you can reach a great part of the canadian audience just by advertising in US products.
