Our gfrading system is A*, A, B, C, D, E, N(No grade), U(Ungraded). Both N and U are equivalent of F in the states, so I hope this helped a little.

*Please note, these were correct at the time I left the education system in my wake (2002 - February)*

Its now A*,A,B,C,D,E,F,G, U. Everything is a pass except for a U which stands for unmarkable. Although passing with a G isnt much to be proud of.

Thanks for the correction, Manic. Had we got this system when I did A level Maths, I would probably have passed, instead of my N. Though it would have been a G, for sure.

wow you guys have alot of room for error over there. I mean a few fuck ups for us and we fail, you have a good 2 letters more to go through, which also means, that it takes less to drop a letter, so i guess i got it easier.

Here we just have percentages. 49 and below is a fail... 50 and above is a pass. Though the higher the better.

0 - 49 is an F in highschool, but an R in the younger grades.
50 - 59 is a D
60 - 69 is a C
70 -79 is a B
80 - 100 is a A

Anwyas, what do you think you will study, Fox?

Oh and P.S. If you don;t like it when i keep calling you Fox, just say. I can always ajust to Manic if you insist. : )

oh ours go like this

A: 100-90
B: 89-80
C: 79-70
D:69-61
F:50-0

so if you miss half of a test, or of anyhting really you fail it.

Either english,HIstory(If I can improve my grade) pr politicvs. I have a strange ambition to beat Tony Blair in a general Election......which is a bit stupid as most of my political leanings [popint me towards joining labour.

Please if you wouldnt mind calling me Manic :P Im probably nopt going to change back to frozen fox so it will just confuse me in the long run. my simple mind cant cope with having two names

Politics is good to get into, you should really consider that route.
I am taking English and Fine Arts (plus a couple Philosophy courses for tips).

Well, at least you have some idea of how the system worked. I managed to get 85% for my statistics exam and only got a B for it. I needed 86.25% to get an A. The reason: the exam board takes all the marks and sets a median range graph for it (Don't ask, it's confusing as hell) then they say, let x have an A grade, y have a B and so on. Had I got that mark for Pure maths 3 (Logarythms and shit) I would have been in the top 2% of the whole country, so an A.

That is brutal. They base your mark upon the rest of the countries marks? That is like comparing apples to oranges, that is aweful. Here we base it upon a curicculum, so everyone is being based upon the same level.

They dont base it on the rets of the people taking the test. they base it on the test itself. If a test is rwally hard they will lower the grade boundaries so you might only need 70 odd % to get an A.

That is still stupid. If it is following a curricculum, it is fair no matter what. A tst shold only be as hard as what the curricculum tells the teachers of what they must teach.
That way just makes little sense to me, like i said before it like comparing apples to oranges and not apples to apples. It just does not seem fair or logical to me.

not right now, I want to work on a flash project but:
1) I have not been inspired by anything
2) all I can think of for a flash is sensless killing and I think there's already enough of that on New Grounds, I want to come up with a good story that would be easy to animate. oxymoron (spell?) animation is never easy. believe me, of course it is allot easier with a lunch box and some clay, or paper cut outs, atleast for me, I think Iam more of a hands on person, its easier for me to move something by hand rather than click and drag. hmmm, I think I may have just been inspired! just a second..................

i'm wondering if I should write an exert from my PsyGuild, perhaps the opening..... Yes i'll do just that! So hoiw do you think i should oppen it, a slow start telling about the chaerecters, or a fast paced opending that discribes them whiee there's action so no boredom? I like #2 but i'd like your guy's input.

me personally? I would use the second opening better, it will drag the reader or viewer in. they'll get excited and want to know more about the characters. BTW is this the story about the two telekinetic girls or whatever? cuz I got an idea. I think they should have a little talking telekinetic cat, seeing as how in a lot of animes there are cats that always show up in an episode.

no, no cats. I think talking animals in a show that has talking people in it are overrated, and childish. No animals. OKay I think i'll start it when i log off of here.
