Windows NT VS Linux 2001-12-06 12:14:12 Reply

im signing up for some shared web hosting. I have the option of being hosted on a Windows NT server or a Linux server! Which should i choose bearing in mind im a novice?

It really doesn't matter for you, go with the cheaper one. If you were more than just a novice, I'd say go with Unix, because you might be able to get telnet/shell access. But if you don't care about that, go with whatever is cheaper.
