The 3d animation is done with different techniques. 3d animation like that of Devil Doll is just a circle 'mask' and then the face rotates left to right. Stuff like Neo Bender was done using a 3d Vector Program which was then dropped into Flash.

To zoom a MC, make a button or AS that has the folowing code:

_root.MC._xscale += 100;
_root.MC._yscale += 100;

Assuming your movie is on the Time Line of course. I'm figuring you know enough of code to make simple buttons and know how to put an MC on the time line.

To zoom:
place the animation in a movie clip. apply motion tweening to the movie clip. Scale the second keyframe so it is larger than the first and position it where you'd like it on the stage. I wouldn't recommend using actionscript and buttons to do zooms in an animation. If you are making a game, then it's different story.

For 3D:
Flash doesn't actually do 3D. What you have to do is use an outside 3D animation program that outputs to vector or use a converter to convert it to vectors. You then import this into flash. 3D in flash is going to be frame-by-frame with lots of gradients so expect your filesize to rise dramatically.

You'll have to use a 3D program such as 3D Studio Max. You'll also need a plugin that renders to vector if you don't feel like hand tracing your 3D animation. Two of the most popular ones are Swift3D and Vecta3D. I recommend rendering to either wireframe or solid color so you don't get that cheesy looking gradient and it'll cut down on the file size. Once you render to vector you should also try optimizing the files within Flash as well since these plugin renderers don't do a great job.
