With both Halloween and the 2004 Presidential Election right around the corner, I'm hoping to tune up our politics and Halloween collections!

The spoofs on the presidential debate are already topping our submissions from the 2000 presidential election - can you believe it's been four years already?! I'm excited to keep adding more!

If you have seen any recent submissions which you believe should be featured in the politics or halloween collections, please respond to this thread with the name and URL. I'll try to have both collections updated in the coming weeks - we'll be showcasing more Halloween submissions towards the end of the month. If you are a Flash artist in need of a theme, these are both good ones for this time of year!

My political music video (Tom Lehrer Music Video http://newgrounds.com/portal/view.php?id=193516) survived
judgement, but with a rather low score. I think it's worth adding
to the politics collection (if i thought it was a waste of time i
wouldn't have bothered to submit it, ya know).

and horror ones, well granfaloon's FEAR is probably one of the best ive ever seen :D

It's certainly one of the better, recent ones out there.

I hope Tom is working on a halloween/horror based flash and set an example instead of being lazy and hoarding money and laughing and stroking his pet cat, while watching as thousands of people waste their precious life on a website, instead of doing what matters, like spending time with their family, hanging out with friends, making friends, helping out other people, studying, reading a book, EXCERSIZING, playing sports, or countless other constructive activities.

"YOU KNOW?"

TOM! I have one for the Halloween section. You might not think it's all that great but give it a shot! It's crude but funny!

BTW- I realize that on some systems the sound/picture sync of
the music video i put out isn't quite right. I've asked a few folks
privately if they'd help me correct it, but nobody seems interested
in doing that. If anyone here would care to help me correct the
problem, please let me know.

It's such a shame that this hasn't found its way to Newgrounds. Maybe someone should ask the authors to submit it?

Politics:
Kerry + Edwards
Regime Change: America

They're not exactly graphically that great, but I think they would serve they're purpose in the politics collection.

We can combine the two, can't we?

John Kerry already looks like a zombie.

And George Bush is a... uh... monkeys aren't scary.

That's a good plan Tom. I didn't mean that to sound like I was "sucking up," but meh. I'd promote "You're a Fucking Moron" with G. Boo himself.

I'm making a Halloween cartoon now. I hope I finish it at least before Halloween. If it doesn't get done in time, I might not finish it.

HEY-YO! Tom, I made one a while ago that coule be Halloween/Humor... not sure if it fits with most of those in the collection. However, I did base the flash upon "From My Room" which is in the Horro Section. So, we'll see, I guess.

"Bump in the Night"
http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/153090

It's a little long, and actually I'm working on re-doing it in 24fps and shortening it about a minute na dre-releasing it to the portal... so, not sure if you want to wait.. but that won't happen before halloween. Anyway, peace.
