If Flash was good enough for TV, more cartoons would be made in Flash. But they're not. They're made in programs like Maya. You know why? Because those programs are better, and practically every animation studio uses it now. Simply because...it's better, and Flash as an animation medium is dead. It's better for webdesign, etc.

Great job, comparing 3D software to Flash. The last time I checked the percentage of 2D-animations was superior to the percentage of 3D animations,
Also, Flash has ALLWAYS been meant for web, you can tell by the poor video exporting options. Actually it developed from a software devoted to making website banner ads.

The animation software that is most commonly used for cartoons now is Toonboom and After Effects, probably some more that I don't remember.

Yer, But there wouldnt be enough top flashes to make it last for a year, cas some are games, and theres only like 15 hours ( If that ) worth of any decent stuff, And is they wanted to make it last longer, they would have to show some really bad ones like, 5 Crap entries of the week or something!
